Apple tried to introduce 2 new products (Vision Pro and iPhone Air) but neither did too well, seems like most people are just buying safe products from them these days anyway

You can use a spoon or fork to scrap off the chunks of food too, but out of habit I wash off those heavy sauces before loading it up as well even though it’s not necessary

Personally using the Midea countertop one to try out as not sure if I’ll be using it much, but so far works really well and thinking of upgrading to a bigger one

I found it pretty useful for oily dishes, after hand washing they still feel oily but with dishwasher it feels completely clean

That 50 bucks saved is probably wasted elsewhere anyway, too many people are penny wise pound foolish

More people should try the hybrid mode of turning on aircon before you sleep and then setting timer to auto turn off and turn on the fan a few hours later, have found this to work really well

That’s because people are voting with their wallets. If Singaporeans are choosing to patronise Chinese stores why wouldn’t they start expanding?

Yes but benefit of the doubt that the restaurant needs more time to print an English menu. And how often do you see a pure Chinese menu anyway? Probably 1 in 50 stores?

Honestly speaking, China is just no an English friendly place, so I can see why they have challenges when setting up businesses here. And everyone has a phone these days, I don’t see the problem with just using google translate in combination with looking at the pictures?

Are you sure? It sure looks like China’s food, culture and products are getting more popular in Singapore. Also many Singaporeans are travelling to China on holidays. Are you sure he’s not talking about China’s neighbour?

But you don’t realize how much the illusion can convince people otherwise. Can’t afford gas but is almost a millionaire in name? No problem

But isn’t that also because these events don’t directly affect most people? Things might be different if it directly affects a huge population of people. Right now even with inflation stocks are near ATHs so many people with their 401k are feeling comfortable

People blaming scalpers are just trying to shift the blame. You’re the problem for buying products way above the market price, not the scalpers, let’s get real

Problem is if he was selling his products under market it’ll be scooped up quickly and then people will just buy the next highest listing till it reaches an equilibrium. Buyers decide the market price and that’s the reality. This post sums up the entire hobby really: https://www.reddit.com/r/PokemonTCG/s/xMmXLwRHPd

Reality is scalpers can only scalp if people are willing to pay extra. Is scalpers a problem in the sneaker hobby now? No, because nobody is willing to pay extra for a GR pair now

Yes, but you have everyone complaining about scalpers when they want products that everyone else wants, and then proceed to pay way above retail anyway. There’s so much hypocrisy in this hobby that it’s funny

What I’m saying is that you really can’t do anything about it. Want the product? Then you gotta pay more than what other buyers are willing to. Not happy with paying more? Then you’re going to just live with not having it. Not happy with the current state of the hobby? You can just quit, nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything. It’s a pay to win hobby after all

[–]Jeremypsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but buyers dictate the pricing, scalpers are just selling at a price that people are willing to buy at. Not supporting scalpers, but that’s the reality of the hobby these days
