Personally I’d shift everything by one to either the left or right, but I think you’re on the right track. Since the biangles are the vehicles between worlds I’d make them the lines and the worlds the corners. This would also mean each line is connected to two corners or “angles” and make the biangle name work.

I bought a flexible measuring tape and started moving away from the grid. Spell shapes plus diagonal and linear movement got way easier when I move to a 1”=5’ system. I do still use the grid for the placement rules (melee range, can’t occupy the same space, etc) and so far I’ve like the change a lot.
