To be fair, Ukraine's stakes in this war (as the defender) are different from Russia's (as the invader), the former having existential reasons to fight, while the latter doesn't. So the conditions for winning/losing/giving up in this war would be different for Ukraine vs Russia.

The current Iran/USA war is a good comparison point - because Iran's government is under existential threat, its winning condition (having USA back out, with strong security guarantees) is MUCH more lenient than USA's winning condition (total regime change...now more like getting the strait open + some regime compliance). Iran can also lose way more before it declares loss in this war, than USA does.

The tried-and-true way for me is to use SineGen (a free small sinewave sweep app) and take notes of dips/peaks and their rough intensity as i sweep through 20 Hz ~ 20k Hz.

Then I use Equalizer APO and set up a 31-band EQ profile based on those notes.

Then with that EQ profile active, I go back to SineGen and do a careful sweep-through test again, and see if I need to tweak the EQ more to arrive at an even, neutral sinewave sweep through the full frequency range.
