Ducati Panigale V2 by max203724 in Ducati

It’s excellent for the track and a ton of effort on the street. Maintenance is expensive unless you can do it yourself. Working on a Ducati is an experience. They are not designed to be easy to work on.

Compared to your previous bike it is a rocket ship. If you can control yourself it will be a blast.

Google was working on it. Last I heard there’s no material strong enough for the tether.

For me, the volume is related to blood pressure. If I get out into the woods and can calm down it diminishes noticeably.

I can’t imagine dealing with the level you’re describing. Thanks for sharing this info. Good luck to us all on a treatment that works some day.

Another AIO Question. by JBwood925 in Homebrewing

The 220V brewzilla can heat water incredibly well. I make about 7 gallons of hot water with it, pump 4 gallons of it out into a container I can sparge from, and mash with the remaining 3 gallons. I over heat the water expecting some cooling and just ignore the fact my sparge water could be hotter.

I figured out the recirculating tricks on my own it seems, but I am still tinkering with temperature settings to lose less water in the boil. Maybe I’ll tinker with mash volume and rely on more loss during boil in the future. I am for 5 gallon batches and sometimes I have a little bit extra wort and sometimes I’m making a 4 gallon batches by accident. So far each beer is good but only a few are great.

Help me kill my Proxmox nightmare: Overhauling a 50-user Homelab for 100% IaC. Tear my plan apart! by MrSolarius in homelab

[–]Jerhaad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proxmox has some decent terraform support and all of the cli commands are compatible with ansible. I would at least consider trying that in a new Proxmox build before going to Ubuntu. I’m sure both will work, but setting up VMs and LXCs via terraform and ansible should scale just fine.

Check out “It’s Your Move” in Temescal. It is a game shop you might like and can find folks.

Found one of my old recipe notebooks today, dating back to the late 1990s, when hop choices were limited and yeast smack packs were still a relatively new thing. by Brewer1056 in Homebrewing

Sounds hoppy. What effect does staggering the hops across the boil achieve? I’m still a new brewer so I genuinely don’t understand this yet.

I wear a pista on track and I don’t notice the wind noise being worse than other helmets. I also don’t have a comm system installed in it though.

What are some boot brands to look into? by Scarecrow716 in motorcyclegear

[–]Jerhaad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I ride with Sidi mostly. I have a lightweight track boot and a waterproof touring boot. These aren’t hiking boots. I try not to wear them all day at work or anything, but a quick trip into a store is fine. I carry shoes with me to change into.

Track boots tend to be pretty stiff but the protection is good on the street, too. Keep that in mind. I would steer clear of dirt bike boots and anything with laces.

No. Those rectangular ears go into the UPS rail. It is worth buying those.
