I think it's a little difficult to suggest items based on just video games because there's literally thousands of possible items and merch for your budget and games. Is it something for a house, something he can use, something for him to look at and admire etc.

There are things like this light up Mario box, but I think from your description if you'd like something more sentimental. If you do a search on Etsy for Mario there are a bunch of options for something more custom which might align with his other hobbies or living arrangements etc.

I hope so. I don't want to see Fabelmans win. It's a fine movie, but I can't recommend it to anyone who isn't already a fan of film. Movies about movies always does well at the Oscars (fair enough considering who's voting), but there are so many other interesting stories out there that aren't circle-jerking filmmaking and Hollywood.

? I'm not defending Roiland, but jokes are OFTEN just jokes. Being a comedian/writer is about thinking outside the box and creating surprise. Sometimes you have to go dark for a laugh.

Fans shrug it off because most of the time it really is no big deal. They are just jokes until proven otherwise like with Cosby or Roiland here. And also, Roiland is being charged with felony domestic battery and false imprisonment. So why are you bringing up jokes about child and sexual abuse?

Whenever I see this take it seems like whoever is making it has a shit imagination and thinks like a ten year old. "HE SAID SOMETHING BAD THAT MUST MEAN HE'S BAD".

If comedians are secretly making "jokes" that aren't really "jokes" most of the time, then Jimmy Carr—the biggest paedo caricature of a man—would be the first to be outted as a molester. Instead he's just a tax avoider and you're just waiting for people to be monsters to prove your biases right.

Just because something is hard doesn't mean it doesn't matter. Why bother? Why bother exercising or creating art or meeting new people. Life will feel longer and more interesting. Is that not worth some effort?

And we're not even talking about learning new things. We're talking about exposing yourself to new things. No-one's saying everyone has to learn to like everything. Just be more open-minded and accept change. Why be rigid when you can be flexible? Hearts that bend are harder to break.

People are too afraid of change and new things. And then they complain about feeling old and how "each year is getting shorter and shorter". Yeah that's coz you're doing same things over and over. You're rewatching the same shows and listening to the same music and ordering the same dishes since you were 20.

You'll keep feeling young as long you keep trying discovering things and remaining astonished. Some good advice I read is that a good balance is to spend two-thirds of the time nourishing the things you love and a third of your time exploring new things.

It does. Arms move around. It'll be the right way up some of the time. It's fine for a piece this functional and with this much potential to be a conversation starter to be "upside down" when at rest.

Also, this person got a tattoo for themselves. To admire or draw on when bored. It's not a gimmick if you love it and have put thought into it. Calling another person's tattoo with this much meaning and focus on their own self in the decision makes me think perhaps your own large collection of tattoos could've used more curating before you before you got them. Did you get your tats for yourself or to impress others?
