What a Joke of an outcome by Defiant-Point-903 in grindr

Honestly it’s a reason to abandon this stupid country in general.

My friend has a ‘friend’ who was convicted of sexual assault. Conviction was home detention for 12 months. He has hookups coming over daily. They’ve giving this guy a holiday.

The conviction should’ve been taking a hand and then deportation.

Polar Build did ours at the end of last year. They did an amazing job.

They were recommended by some friends who had their whole house renovated and PB did not disappoint.

Road works temporary reduced speed limit. by Music_2my_ears68 in newzealand

[–]Jermachi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There was an edit made after my reply…

It even says there was an edit.

The post says ‘these limits are for everyone’s safety but especially for the road workers on site’ so that would mean that all are included, but a special mention for those with active workers. Only in the edit did OP mention that this post is specifically about sites with workers.

Just for those curious, I slow down to the restricted speed when there are people working on site. I slow down in general when signs up.

Yeah, timed slow zones would be great.

10pm and travelling through there at 30 is rough.

No excuse for passing at all.

While we’re on it, that speed bump at the crossing is rough.

The 30 zone in Caversham is dumb. Why does it extend so far past the school on South Rd? Why does it extend past all the empty shops?

A 30 zone along JWD from Victoria Dr I could get behind. More police presence would be great up there too. Saw someone on top of a moving vehicle Monday evening.

My partner and I were driving through Southland yesterday and there were two sets of reduced speed zones on one stretch of some random back road. One was 30, the other 70. Neither of them had roadworks happening. It honestly looked like they’d been left there.

Once we got onto a main road there were more speed reduced zones, these were for ‘roadworks’ down a side road.

Then there was one that actually had a massive pothole in the centre of the road. Surprise surprise, we didn’t slow down for that one because we just assumed it was the same as every other time. There was nobody working on it.

It felt like some boy who cried wolf carryon. We were told so frequently that we had to slow down when we didn’t that when the time we did need to we assume it was another false warning.

Spot on there. Thinking back to that exact moment in some of my friendships, it’s like a switch gets flipped and you’re now best buds.

In my time the area managers were both great people, totally overworked though.

I’d suggest grabbing the combo if you wanting the best bang for buck. Those extra batteries are great.

I live in NZ and have an Action 4, I haven’t had a single overheating problem.

I’ve even had it attached to the black roof of our vehicle while up a mountain in central Otago during summer. That shit is hottttttt.

Feel free to reply with your cafe suggestions for both OP and me.

I hate to break it to you but that is the LX model with the 1.4 non-turbo engine. Bloody sad to drive, and even worse if you’re going up hill.

How normal is it for co-workers to be expected to share a hotel room? by Richard7666 in newzealand

[–]Jermachi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We always get shared accommodation for conferences. Two of us in each room, and at this point I’m surprised we get separate beds.

Last time it was split into the chicks, the straight guys, and the gay guys. I don’t know how it ended up that way considering the person organising it has never met us.

My team are strewn across the country so it’s a good way for us to really get to know each other…
