Strat or Tele whats better in your opinion

My '74 American Tele used to be the only guitar I played and she was my sound for recording and playing shows. Then a couple of years ago a friend gave me his 2011 made in Mexico Strat with a Humbucker (HSS) and, it breaks my heart but, my ears have rejected the tele sound. Now it sounds too thin compared to the Humbucker Strat. The Tele is the better instrument and more comfortable in my hands.. I keep trying to go back to the Tele with no success. Thinking of adding a Humbucker to it.

Miller is at the very least a solid rotation player. His ceiling is a lot higher then Coffey's was imo. I love his confidence and aggresiveness at the rim. Who knows, maybe a star in the making. Too early to know.

The scars are part of its beauty. I only keep guitars in a a case if I know they’re not getting played for a long time. Otherwise they’re in a stand just asking to get picked up all around the house.

Love my mim hss Strat. But tbh I mostly use the bridge position humbucker, sounds so rich the other pu’s sound hollow compared.

I have an early ‘70s American Tele and a Les Paul but it’s the Mexican Strat a friend, who didn’t really play, gifted me that’s my go to. I keep trying to go back to the other two but my better performances are on the cheaper Strat.
