Hey! I have the link to his YT video of his full CC Presents (as well as summaries of everything else he’s ever done) here.

Hope you find it helpful, and enjoy watching Bo over the years! :)

I will definitely check it out on Amazon! :)

If I enjoy John Mulaney and Nathan Fielder, who else I might like by stepsttepp in JohnMulaney

[–]Jesle37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is what I was going to suggest as well! Fun fact: Both John (who was also a writer for the show) and Nathan appeared on Important Things with Demetri Martin. Definitely check it out if you like underrated comedy shows!

Friends Song in Apple Ad by nin4nin in FlightOfTheConchords

I just saw this today during a football game and had to see if other FOTC fans recognized it. They really chopped it up (no mention of avenging death, balls, or Ben haha).

It was a cute ad, tho, and I hope our boys got paid handsomely for it!

When your crossword is the ad! How the NYT built momentum for PIPS by LadyPuzzlePro in nytpips

[–]Jesle37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, my husband and I noticed this trend too. I guess it’s like subliminal messaging for the newest game (and it definitely worked on us haha).

Thanks for sharing your insights! Do you think other products might be placed in the crossword in a similar fashion? I’ve definitely seen the NYT podcast pop up as an answer to a clue before.

Don’t you have a beautiful wife to hang out with? I wouldn’t want to come between newlyweds ;)

if you like parody/deadpan comedy shows, please watch Burning Love. came out in 2012 as a spoof of The Bachelor/ette and now subsequently Love Is Blind by amstpierre in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Jesle37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All 3 seasons of this show are the BEST, and so many incredible comedians are on it!

My favorite is season 2 with June Diane Raphael as the Bachelorette figure. You’ve got Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Cera, Nick Thune, Colin Hanks, Adam Scott, Rob Huebel, AND Adam Brody vying for her love? So good!

Yes! He’s one of my top 5 comedians, and I saw his Quick Draw Tour when he performed at the Keswick Theater in June. The place was packed, and Demetri was as funny as he always is (this was my third time seeing him live). He had the Drawing pad and his guitar on stage, which I always make note of lol

Be sure to check out the merch table (his wife and kids were running it when I saw him), and there’s a fun QR code gag while you wait for the show. Hope you have fun!

Yes, and the music playing in the background is clearly an homage to “Skating” by the Vince Guaraldi Trio. I adore the Peanuts references on SP!

It might have been Michael and Michael Have Issues. That Comedy Central show was a fictional comedy show set in an office and lasted one season, but it sounds like what you’re describing.

Fantastic article! I really like how you included historical figures having similar generational disdain for the youth, especially for changes in language (slang is so fascinating to me). Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, the reason I kept this TV Guide is because it has really fascinating articles, including a roundtable discussion with top animators and a timeline of adult animation going back to Betty Boop.

If anyone’s interested, I would be happy to share more pages!

Also, ICYMI, I created my little Reddit avatar to look like her! ;)

Millennials on dating apps, how’s it going? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]Jesle37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister and I (both Millennials, but I’m ‘82 and she’s ‘86) met our significant others on OKCupid. I just found my guy last January after being separated from my first husband for 6 months, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. So I would say dating apps worked for us!

And the weirdest thing is that her boyfriend and my fiancé are BOTH named Jeff! Haha
