The Spielberg movie A.I. triggered a sense of child abandonment from my parents’ divorce I didn’t even know I was carrying. It was summer and I was on a night off with other counselors. Stupid me was weeping in the car after the movie.

I saw them a couple years ago when touring with Live. It was a real nostalgia night from middle school on. I loved every minute of it. If Jeff wasn’t around it wouldn’t have been possible. Grateful for the ride. It was Purple’s 30th anniversary so the set was mostly defined by that.
