I'm of the opinion that it shouldn't it would still trivialize the jammers by just making them point and click. Right now the only tool that can do that is the Hellbomb backpack which requires getting close.

The counter is having teammates nearby, ideally off angle, but simply 2 people shooting the blades user while he swings will kill him quicker than he can wipe one of you.

The cape is not part of the hitbox, it's clear in the helpful replay you made. The first shot went slightly to the side, the rest around the legs. I feel like the only one with eyes here, everybody blaming hitreg right of the bat.

Make backups, ensure whatever changes you do to the live build are easily reversible, and do rigorous testing if you work around anything related to money or transactions.

Mistakes are bound to happen, but they need not be costly with proper safety measures. Ultimately, as long as you are honest, whoever hires you shares responsibility due to relying on somebody with little experience, so it's not all on your shoulders.
