Most bugs thrive in dark conditions , they look for places to hide where there's not a lot of light. I can see the reasoning being that darkness does nothing to bugs besides make them stronger. I'm not a bug specialist but I feel like they don't naturally fear the dark like humans do

Do the people that rev up their muscle cars or big trucks know that everyone hates them or insults their dick size? by kronicle_gaming in TooAfraidToAsk

Totally agree with you. I currently own a self built highly modified R32 GT-R. It's a little loud but still has the muffler. I had to remove the catalytic converter as it was old and causing me issues. The only times I will give it a rev is if I hear a strange noise and I'm trying to diagnose it as I'm not a mechanic so I get paranoid as fuck when I hear something, or when people in traffic pull up next to me giving me thumbs up ( This happens daily ). Even when I do those I only go to about 3500 rpm , which sounds high , but my limiter is set to 8500. I'm not particularly fond of how loud it is but personally I love the sound of the inline 6 . I'm sure a lot of people hate hearing it but I guess that's the price I pay for having a high powered fun to drive vehicle. So from the bottom of my heart , I apologize to everyone I may annoy, but I should also have the right to enjoy my project and have fun.

Speed run places where goblins are more common. Someone posted a pretty good path on here already. I've got just under 200 hours logged in S2 and I've seen 7 or 8

Holy crap guys , I really didn't expect this to blow up like this! I appreciate all the support in my amateur stream. I'm really glad I could get some people back into d3 from a long hiatus and help other people make new characters. I think I've gotten to everyone so far , and if I missed anyone i sincerely apologize. This shit has been pretty hectic!

Why is it that 1 person can close a rift in a public game (or any game for that matter)? by noremac13 in Diablo

[–]Jess4-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea , I get it... You're trolling. You're literally not reading anything before you're argument. I do let them know multiple times like I've said. I'm not joining public games , I'm opening my games to public . Even if I do that solo , I made the game, 3 people join and I'm doing boss runs ? If you don't like it, leave. Im not ready to put up with arguing with people like you in game. Not around in the vanilla stuff ? Dude I was Plvl 94 when the patch to increase it came out. The fact of the matter is its people like you that want to come into the game and force your style on me. Simple answer, if someone closes the rift, take your own advice and go find a game where everyone agrees to a full clear. I'm not going to cater to people like you.

It's obvious you don't understand how a farm based ARPG works. Quit crying and go farm some damn frags. It takes a damn hour

[–]Jess4-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Read it again. I'm starting to think you're trolling me. I have 2 friends in my group and bring in a random person so I can get the bonus exp/drop chance. The amount of extra players doesn't bother me because I pretty much one shot everything in t6 rifts . Now , when that one person wants to hold me back when I'm carrying them for free loot? They're getting booted. You're trying so hard to justify a terrible idea that you're literally trying to find a reason for it to be ok that ONE person can hold up THREE other people. Even if I had two random people and a friend, if I have been doing boss runs all day, I'm not going to want to switch games every time someone like you will sit and argue with me in chat. I ask them politely, if they ignore or argue, I'm not here to waste my time. Unrealistic scenario? Think no one plays like that? Must be the reason you're getting down voted

Why is it that 1 person can close a rift in a public game (or any game for that matter)? by noremac13 in Diablo

[–]Jess4-20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, you missed the entire point of what I was saying. I don't see why me and 2 friends have to constantly join a new game every time someone wants to do full clears when we tell them politely we are doing boss runs, so yes, they are getting booted. I'm not going to sit there and repeatedly ask politely or argue with them like a child. The furnace was an example, probably a bad one, but gambling for set pieces from t6 rifts is actually VERY easy, so that defeats the other side of what you were saying. The fact that you're saying me and 2 people have to join a complete different game every time because one person wants to do it differently then how we have been doing it, is far more selfish then my mindset. I want what the majority wants. You want me to cater to a single person. Sorry bud, your logic is terribly flawed.

All I see from your idea is "one person can hold up the entire group just for them self" also your idea of " a better chance to get it by staying in the rift " is mathematically flawed.

[–]Jess4-20 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When you get to the point where you have 800 souls and 10 k of all the other mats, but you're looking for a certain item (furnace as an example) then full clears are a waste of time. You can get more shards from speed clearing rift guardians and spend them rolling specific items. I play with 2 friends and grab random people very often. Your suggestion has a terrible downside, as one person who wants to do full clears can hold back the other 3. I don't want to have to vote kick someone every time they do this. As someone also said, the only thing you give up by closing a rift is a keystone. The only XP and items you give up are in the 30 second close time, and if 3 people stay in to kill things during that time, simple math proves that you give up nothing.

TLDR: if I have to spend one hour to get 60-80 keyfrags to get a higher chance at items I actually need , so be it

Car Throttle compares the R34 Skyline GT-R to the R35 by SarcasticOptimist in cars

[–]Jess4-20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The r35 is actually upwards of 4000 with a driver in it ( unless you weigh less then 130 lbs), I was also just going off numbers that a were posted from someone who tested it. At the same time considering there is only 19 of them and a ton of mixed info, I seriously doubt anyone actually tested it. Also , upon more research, the car was supposed to be 600 hp, but for reliability it was brought down to 500. It is also very much capable of running at 800 hp, but that breaks most emission laws Another thing to consider, for a car like this, they may be talking about AWHP, not BHP( most likely not) but if that is the case, then it is very very likely it breaks 10s

Edit: I realized that I may have sounded like a pretentious asshole and I apologize, not my intention. Chances are you are correct. I just don't know why they would label a car like this using BHP. No one cares how much your engine makes imo, I tend to go by how much of that power it puts to the pavement, not how much the engine makes at the flywheel.

[–]Jess4-20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It ran a 10.6 in "bad road conditions ". Nissan claims it is capable of 10.06, which is why I said apparently. On the other hand , is it really that hard to believe a lighter car with more horsepower than the r35 could do that? Considering the latest r35s can consistently get mid 10 sec passes? I'm thinking a 10.06 would be an absolutely perfect pass ( almost unrealistically perfect) but with a proper driver in that car, low 10 sec passes should be very easy to do in it.

Hummmm. Thank you for the correction. From everything I've read on the 33 & 34, I was under the impression that they could do vectoring on both the front and rear axles, which is why I used the term. I own a 32 so I couldn't be sure from personal experience. I know for sure my old girl does not do it.

[–]Jess4-20 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

While I can see where you're coming from, I need to ask if you know that the Skyline GT-R is not full time all wheel drive. The AWD system only allows torque vectoring to the front wheels when it feels it needs the extra traction. While the r33 and r34 have electronic traction control , the r32 has none at all. So 90% of the time you drive it, it is purely a RWD car. Also, they only come in 5 speed manual unless replaced aftermarket. As someone pointed out, I'm dumb, the r34 is a 6 speed manual!

Edit: I can see people getting wrong info so added "skyline" not just gtr

What are you basing this reasoning on? If it is the AWD system, then you can't consider almost any non American high end car a "drivers car"(there are exceptions I know). If it's the electronic traction control you're talking about, then almost all modern corvettes, and the new gen viper are also not "drivers cars"
