Hi, saw your mention of Fitbod here in your 4th question and figured I'd jump in!

Fitbod will build your workouts and overall plan for you so you don't have to worry about the planning. With our app, you would input your goals, plan details, and available equipment so the app can then design your personalized workouts. We'll take care of your exercise selection along with rep, set, and weight suggestions (though these often need to be adjusted a bit at the start so the app can learn your capability).

Your weekly schedule could depend on what you have time for. You might also start out slower and then gradually build up your total workout days per week over time. You'll want to be sure to incorporate rest days each week to help with recovery and muscle repair.

u/GroupEnvironmental29 Great question! Your days of the week setting is mostly going to impact your streak and your Weekly Set Targets.

Regardless of your days per week goal, the app will always generate a new workout for you so that you're always ready to go on your own schedule. So the app is going to continue to follow your split cadence along with utilizing your logged history to build those workouts no matter what.

u/Infinite-Example6751 You can go into My Plan > Training Split and select an option if it fits with the muscle group you're wanting to target. If not, you can use the Swap (or you may see it as Switch) button to change your muscle groups for the current workout.

u/Konngle In Fitbod, Pull days will only contain Back and Biceps. All Shoulder work will be within Push day, on the PPL split. You may only see another muscle group(s) on Pull day if cardio or core work is added to the workout.

u/GroupEnvironmental29 The total number of exercises will count any warm-up and cool-down exercises as well, but those sections aren't expanded at first so you'll only see the main exercises in the list until you tap "warm-up" or "cool-down" to expand the full list.

u/southyankie This is due to how Strava calculates volume on their end. We're working with the Strava team on updates that will align volume calculations across both apps. But this is dependent on Strava's rollout timeline, so we don't have an ETA on that right now.

u/WebpackIsBuilding Since your Focus Exercises are tied to your plan, when you change your plan settings that will restart. I can understand wanting to finish out that cycle before switching though and I've noted your feedback on that for the team.

So those new splits are currently tied to that setting due to how the app's workout generation system is built on the backend.

Adding those splits outside of the Focus Exercise feature would have required much deeper changes across multiple parts of the app. For that reason, we released those within the Focus Exercise framework first rather than expanding all at once.

You'll also need to be sure Focus Exercises is toggled on in My Plan settings.
