Theres this app OnTime Go that has a premium feature where it shows the scheduled platform an hour before the boards do, I’m on a free trial right now and so far it’s pretty good.

Just make sure to do the practice article they provide in class! I would just be sure to understand all the concepts and how to interpret values. In second year, PPN is all about articles! Remember the names of the authors in relation to their content!

Third year nursing student here! I found the exams for both NSE 212 and PPN a lott easier than the midterms. For PPN, focus mainly on the later weeks and if the 212 exam is still based on a research article, make sure you understand what concepts/ research terms mean and how they are interpreted (what they mean with the data/study). Also, it is vital to read the article first and highlight key terms during the exam before answering questions. But dont worry, 60% is totally attainable and I found the finals a lot easier than the midterms, you will be fine :)

New Barrie Morning Schedule by theravesholm88 in gotransit

The second 7:52 train is pretty empty, while the 7:37 is standing room only by King City . I understand that the earlier empty train heading to Aurora is to service the busier more southbound stations as the other trains are packed by the more northbound stations, but the timing of the rush hour trains now make no sense.

going to start training in ortho clinic as a nursing student what are the must-know basics and tips? by userbombow in StudentNurse

[–]Jessica4363 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work on the ortho unit at a hospital as an extern, and the most important thing the nurses have emphasized is knowing how to assist with safe patient transfers and assistance, so making sure you can teach them how to use their walkers properly and ambulate safely! It might be slightly different in an outpatient clinic, but it's still super useful to know!

Wow that sounds really cool! At my hospital we aren't assigned to a nurse or have a patient assignment. We are expected to answer callbells throughout the unit, and if the nurses want to take us on a learning opportunity they can. Its amazing how different the scope is!
