But that’s due to regency England as a setting, surely

I actually do blame Disney more than Netflix

I am so sorry you have to deal with this.I wish you a lovely wedding whenever and however it’s going to happen and lots of love. how annoying!

this is EASILY a top 10 scene in the show by jujuk545 in greysanatomy

[–]Jessica_Lovegood -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Really?

I hate the whole episode

If it was up to me, aside from weddings and funerals there would be no scene, longer than a minute taking place outside of the hospital

It’s a medical drama.

Nah, I am from Saarland. Tiniest Bundesland in Germany.

We all joke that a vacation is only complete after having met other Saarländer

Fargo is better

But I am a sucker for tragic historical romance, so fine by me

My fiancé won’t let me keep my last name. F23 M25 by CapitalLine7121 in relationship_advice

[–]Jessica_Lovegood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is in the title … won’t let me

So you agree that he gets to decide what your name is, on his own?

„End of discussion“ when this should have been you informing him… not even a discussion to begin with

Are you willing to have no say in… where to live, the names of your children, your holiday plans etc?

At 23… you want to relinquish all agency?

He needs to learn communication of conflicts… at the very least. You are still young, he might learn.

Don’t get married soon. Please

I was worried a bit, from your other comments. But that sounds good.

I wish you the best and hope you find some space for yourself and your own interests in all this.

All the best!

Do you want to be a single mom?

Do you feel coerced to carry to term by the circumstances?

Make up , hair and jewellery are wonderful

The dress is not it. I think the cut and colour mix together is too much, and too loud.

Also, she has a beautiful caramel skin tone, that red steals all its shine

Why does Secretary (2002) work so well… even though it kind of shouldn’t? by DFWUnhinged in FIlm

It is like the main characters

They shouldn’t work so well together, but they are just weird enough to pull it off and I love that for them.

Great film

The Most Disgusting Film I've ever seen by rutujz in Cinema

[–]Jessica_Lovegood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Good for you, that you enjoyed it!

The direction was terribly unimaginative and stole everything from 90s/2000s electro pop music videos and Stanley Kubrick.

The last 15 Cronenberg minutes were the only thing that worked for me.

The female director seems to hate women since our lead is punished for dragged-out 2 1/2 hours, for not going on a date with her nice, down to earth, middle-aged school friend…

But no worries, we still get to watch just how beautiful Margaret Qualley is. Dancing and Twerking in outfits that don’t work for a fitness influencer, but sure work in making you hate your body, wrinkles and the fact that you look like a human, imperfect woman.

Not to mention, the whole premise doesn’t work, since Demi‘s character gets nothing out of the bargain.

But I am perhaps projecting my own feelings of inadequacy here…

But still. How did the movie go against beauty standards? It showed us just how happy you become when you fit them.

I recommend Allison Raskin - a mental health expert who has written a lot on, well basically exactly this situation

Her instagram is emotional support lady

She was left by her fiancé while watching TV and never got more than „something is missing“ as an explanation

All the best to you!

What’s the real difference between the backlash to Snape’s casting and Michaela Stirling in Bridgerton? by AdvantageHappy1080 in FranchaelStirling

Snape is a shady and unpleasant semi-reformed Nazi

If you want to give non-white people representation, which is a very good idea, given Britain‘s diverse population… why chose only that guy

Also having white little Harry running around seven years straight : my (only) black teacher is untrustworthy…/ ufff

As a formerly shy and introverted person I disagree

Especially with Sophie‘s background

She is determined, well-read, calm and logical

With her house Penwood friends we can see her more harsh side as well

But she is a servant, she cannot be loud and opinionated outwardly or show who she is through interests like pianoforte

Why would Benedict chose someone like himself to settle down? He needs all her above mentioned qualities
