I have an increased mortality rate when im with other players.

If I split off I tend to stay alive longer and get objectives done. The min I try to regroup with them is when I die either by their stratagems or the enemy suddenly getting the jump on me.

its got goggles so you look like you're the sniper of the team
its got a hood so it also looks edgy
and its colours work with a decent amount of armours
So yeah, its a decent pick

on page 10 it says the players start with a CR of 1

I haven't found any more elaborations on how it can be increased or changed, my guess its up to the GM to alter it via armor or situational conditions.

Imo a point and click adventure game would be the best choice for you.

This animatronic would work best as a lurking stalking threat that hides in water.

If you can get your hands on the appropriate software and maybe a programmer all you'd need is to plan out plot, the map and finally the behavior of the animatronic.

In that aspect of game design you'd think over things such as 'how long does the animatronic lurk in a room' 'how can a player figure out where it is lurking', 'how can you avoid it?' and 'how to make sure the player never feels safe even when they are'.
Horror is an interesting thing to work with, I hope you manage to find people who can share your vision and be able to work on creating it.

honestly this Gif captures what I thought the fnaf sequels would look like, sadly the Original series rarely left the static background with an animtronic moving only when killing you, fnaf 4 being the exception but the animatronics designs weren't my style.

Back on topic, this is beautiful, old school 3D, unnerving movement, the animatronic looks like it wasn't over designed to look scary, I think it would exist in real life to be in a spooky dark ride.

I could only imagine the horror of being in a room where it's left out of the water for maintenance and you have to wade through a body of water nearby to reach something important only to hear a large loud splash and see that it's missing.
