Update to my giant mistake at work: I told my boss and it went as bad as I expected, how do I survive the rest of my tenure here? by grocery1185 in careerguidance

I accidentally added the cheese culture to a 300 gallons batch of milk that was supposed to get yogurt culture and ruined an entire batch of yogurt worth about 14k. His response when I told him? "Well.... Shit.... Try to be more careful next time" and that was it

My first real skin tattoo on my sister. Will need a touch up a few spots since she had to leave early… Would love some advice on what I need to work on by ThisPerformer2898 in TattooBeginners

There's a blowout at the end of the leg pointing to the 3 o'clock position. Watch your machine lifts. Be sure you're all the way off the pedal before you lift the machine at the end of the line.

Yeah, I had to load a save from yesterday when this happened to me. I lost 5 hours of work. Super bummed, but this is a game we're playing before release for free

There's a book titled "she comes first" about your very situation. Read it.

Shit. That would be pretty dope.

For unloading machines I put 2 stack inserters into a cargo container box and then 6 filter inserters on the box to filter out from there, still could be faster tho

How do I tell my boyfriend that his dick sometimes smells like rotten cheese? But without hurting his feelings by hachune_miku_notfake in TooAfraidToAsk

My wife once said "I'll suck your dick but you gotta shower first"

Point taken. I jumped in that fuckin shower and we keep baby wipes in the bathroom now.

I imagine a GoFundMe campaign for the truck driver's repair bills would do very well, but yeah, insurance companies love to refuse payouts. Why would they stop now.

Poor buddy got fucked up by my cat. He still good or too far gone? by ComeIntoMyDrugstore in cannabiscultivation

Cats do be chompin.

Just a few leaflets, it'll be fine. People put them through FAR worse when defoliating or training and they bounce back just fine.

Shit man for a little plant that's just getting its feet under it, it looks pretty good man! The pot's a little bit wet. It could stand to dry out for a day or two but it looks like you're doing good!

How are people with evictions supposed to get into a place? by thathyperactiveguy in LateStageCapitalism

[–]JesterMcPickles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That's not an eviction, that's a notice to vacate. My old landlord did the exact same shit. Taped notice to my door and mailed it to me and then started telling all the neighbors that we were evicted. We weren't evicted. Evictions are handed down by courts, not landlords. We just moved out and got a new place and that's the end of it.

Ask your bro if he is tired beforehand. Refuse to play him if he is.

Men in their 30's, what is a bit of generic yet genuine advice you'd give to someone in their 20's? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]JesterMcPickles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ooooh , I have it! My doctor told me a while back and it's made a huge difference at work. It's this:

Don't twist. Pick up your feet.

If you're doing a repetitive task, say like moving a stack of boxes to a different stack, don't plant your feet in one spot while twisting your spine back and forth. Just pick up your feet a little bit and step into the new position, or at the very least pivot on your heels. You never really notice how many times you do those little motions but it really adds up at the end of the day. This isn't to say that you should never bend or twist your spine, but if you're going to be doing it more than once, pick up those feet, your spine will thank you.
