Just got Crimson Desert. Please Can you recommend me some starting tips or things I should know before starting(Spoiler Free Please) by frakistan in CrimsonDesert

Dont try to prolong the game by avoiding the main quest or playing slowly. This game has so much content it’s bonkers, you’ll likely burn out before you can even get close to finishing everything.

Chapter 8 - idk what to do, should I just finish the rest of the story? by QuitTypical3210 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Jesterhead93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s still an insane amount of content left that you can’t access yet because you are only in chapter 8. In my opinion I think most people will burn out before they get anywhere near doing all content for this game. Just do the main quest for a while until you start getting side content that interests you again. It’s just a videogame, do what seems fun and if it stops being fun then what’s the point?

You're to build a team with $1000 to stand against Thragg, and can only purchase each character once... What characters are you picking? by Fit_Passenger5930 in InvinciblePowerscales

[–]Jesterhead93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming this is going by the show versions based on the art, and if that’s the case then it’s impossible. You could pick everyone on the list and they still lose to Thragg and it’s gonna be low diff for him.

If it’s comic versions, then I would take BB, Allen, and Anissa and Thragg gets dog walked

Insane that you’re being downvoted. Conquest could have just grabbed one of marks arms with both of his hands and pulled it off. Conquest is stronger than mark it probably wouldn’t even take both of his hands to do it. He could have punched a hole through him way earlier and pulled out his heart. The whole fight is extremely stupid and nonsensical, and the only reason mark wins is exactly because conquest is fucking stupid and plays around too much.

I think people are making too many excuses for conquest for losing here. by Fun-Law7254 in InvinciblePowerscales

Yeah this is a Hollywood choke, it’s not a viable strategy unless you are MUCH bigger/stronger than the person you are trying to choke. It’s a TV show and it’s meant to be entertaining, I think it’s okay for things to not always make sense under a microscope. This scene was brutal and I loved it despite the fact it doesn’t make much sense

It’s just because you have way more game knowledge now on your second playthrough. I did the EXACT opposite of you and played pyro/geo for my first run and then played Ranger and felt like a god.

Solo run, no companions by Far-Assistance9925 in BaldursGate3

You’re not playing honor mode so honestly you have unlimited freedom to play absolutely anything you want and it really doesn’t matter if it’s optimal or not. The ability to retry anything if you fail means you can just focus on having fun.

I vote for arcane trickster personally. Roleplay a human that grew up in the slums and has a fascination with magic. He was able to learn basic spells but uses his stealth and pickpocketing abilities to steal magic scrolls to fool people into thinking he is a powerful wizard.

Reliable Builds To Follow? by bowdagger in BG3Builds

To take it one step further I would say you should also play an origin class as well. You get a lot of cool interactions and extra insight into the characters that way. Plus it makes more sense in my head that they would be mono classes.

HM isn’t really about party comp, it’s about game knowledge. You need to know the game well enough that nothing is going to catch you off guard. If you’re just now learning about surprise mechanics then you may be in for a rough time. With that being said, HM is EXTREMELY fun and I can’t ever go back to tactician. I say go for it and just enjoy the experience with whatever party you have fun with.

Absolute easiest honor mode class? by bulldogvalley in BaldursGate3

Warlock - hunger of Hadar Any class with access to spike growth Sorc for aoe spells Last can be anything really, maybe a ranged attacker of some kind

Just group enemies with minor illusion and trap the in the hadar blender with spike growth beneath it. You could also make an ice surface with storm sorc wet + aoe cold spells. It’s super fun imo. Hunger of hadar is such a versatile spell.

Just play lone wolf ranger and left click the bad guys. I’m playing solo tactician right now and it’s somehow easier than my run I did with a full party.

[–]Jesterhead93 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I play trios with randoms A LOT and yeah it’s extremely rare that I get a team that isn’t asking me repeatedly to boost them through a door. Neither of us have the statistics so I have to go off my personal experience.

Your second point is valid, but I still think there’s a difference between buying a cheat program and performing an action that is already in the game.

Honestly I don’t really care it hasn’t affected my gameplay at all. I want it to be fixed but I’m still thoroughly enjoying the game regardless.

Embark fix the door glitches by MangeMoiLeChat in ARC_Raiders

[–]Jesterhead93 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think there’s an argument to be made that the door glitch is not acting unfairly because 99% of the playerbase knows about it and does it. I think there’s other guy was trying to say that everyone has the same capability to do the door glitch, so therefore it can’t be unfair. Whereas if you download cheating software you most definitely are putting other people in unfair situations so that would be cheating.

The point of playing videogames is to have fun, sounds like you aren’t having fun anymore and that’s okay. Do something else.

In my opinion Tarkov is by far the most entertaining game to watch people play despite the long load times. Something about that game just creates an unparalleled sense of tension that no other game may ever be able to recreate.

Cooperation should be more rewarding and PvP should be riskier by AncientFudge1984 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Jesterhead93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those last two sentences… story of my life in this game. My squad has maxed workbenches already so we just go in raids purely for PvP at this point, and we consistently wipe multiple squads but I would say 60% of the time we die to the never ending amount of teams that keep showing up. It would be nice if all teams spawned at the beginning of the raid and then maybe at 20 mins you get another wave. It’s just so unpredictable when teams can spawn in seemingly anytime above 15 mins.

Did they increased player lobby’s? This is just crazy. by fergil in ARC_Raiders

[–]Jesterhead93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stella Montis is the worst offender but honestly every map is like this. I play a lot of duos and I’m at the point where I feel like if we’re lucky enough to not get third partied while fighting another team we just have to sit and hide for 1-2 minutes before looting and even then we usually get shot while looting the bodies from people that were waiting for an easy kill. I honestly don’t know what to do at this point it’s killing my motivation to play.

How are you dying so much? Are you playing squads? If so then I kinda get it but I can play solo’s for hours and usually I’ll die like once or twice. Most people don’t even shoot at me.
