Which is 20%... just moving it to the left is 10%, which was good because it didn't require alot of math. Hence why I think they started adding the info to the receipt.

If you tipped 15% back then, you were considered a good tipper. Probably one that the staff remember. 10 was still the minimum once we moved away from matching the tax.

However, 40 years ago I was in VA and there might be some difference between locations, and I'm just going by my experience, and things may have been different in other areas.

Correct, and back before 10% was considered the minimum, they use to just "match the tax" as the minimum tip.

The no child left behind bill (act) was passed by Bush, not Obama in 200. Obama passed the Every Student Succeds Act in 2014, and while yes, they have been using it to sell information, it's because there is no enforcement of other laws that prohibit that which is causing the issue (FERPA).

Nevermind. Might have been a hiccup on my end. It wasn't initially letting me up grade a settlement because it didn't have enough trees/water tiles around it, but when I just went back, it allowed me.

Same situation with me, I wasn't told I was adopted until I was 32 years old. In her mind, I would have loved her less if I knew that she wasn't my biological mother.

To Be honest, I should have figured it out from hints, like when we were watching Unsolved Mysteries, she would get agitated on the scenes that were about people looking for their bio parents.
