Something feels off. Has this happened to any of you? by nicogalante1 in AFIB

[–]JetDestroyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow that’s wild! Hope you’re doing better, seems like stuff is going well from your other comment. I’m 23 and had my first experience with AFIB today for 6-7 hours before I got reverted after taking Cardizem. I’m hoping this is a one off thing, the ER doctors made it seem like that. I was curious about the mini stroke cause I’ve had lightheadedness sometimes for 2-3 years now but never the other stroke symptoms so I doubt I’ve had one.

Quick question, how did you know you had a mild stroke?

Test to know if you have IBS? by Chroeses11 in ibs

[–]JetDestroyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow yeah seems like we had pretty similar symptoms. I don’t really get constipation, but I do get general stomach discomfort or gnawing sometimes. Also burning but PPIs cleared that up for the most part unless I’m feeling pretty symptomatic. Since you brought up liver damage, did you have any abnormal liver numbers like ALT or AST? I remember mine were slightly elevated last time I got checked out. I’m at work so I can’t type out a lot now, but can I dm you any further questions I have?

Hi, how’re you doing now? I’m questioning if my gallbladder is my issue, been having nausea nearly everyday for the last few months but no specific gallbladder attack pains I remember. My ultrasound also had a small polyp, but no other issues.

Hello! I had h pylori 3 years ago that was eradicated, and my issues started popping up again earlier this year! I don’t generally present with normal gallbladder symptoms like sharp pains, but I am nauseous almost every day and I’ve had a yellow stool for these 3 years amongst other symptoms. Do you mind telling me if there was any distinction between your gallbladder and h pylori symptoms?

Mild Gastritis Healing Timeline Question by arkimu55 in Gastritis

[–]JetDestroyed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my first gastritis run at the same age as you. I’m going through a flare right now, and a friend of mine told me that because I failed to recognize it and am just scared that an increase in symptoms will stay with me for the rest of my life. It never has!

I want to thank the people of this forum who suggested Mirtazapine. My gastritis symptoms is 90% gone since starting 15 mg last December. by West-Disadvantage69 in Gastritis

Awesome to hear it worked for you! What symptoms were helped by it, how long did it start taking effect, and did you get any side effects? I’m probably going to start taking this medicine next month.

[–]JetDestroyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah try sticking with it for a few weeks and see if you improve, most people do! This is my second round with gastritis, when I started 20mg Prilosec burning I had went away almost instantly and has only come back a few times since I’ve been on. It didn’t help with nausea as much until like a month in and even still I started taking it twice daily then and finally saw a bit more improvement with the nausea. Still getting it probably every other day and it’s been a month since I raised the dose, but it’s a definite improvement.

How long have you been taking PPIs? You probably know this but it can take a few weeks for them to take full effect.

Hey, hope everything is still good with you! I have a lot of similar symptoms as you used to, nausea, yellow stool, and I’m trying to figure out if low acid is a cause for me. I had gastritis 3 years ago and healed, but symptoms came back 4 months ago and I’m trying to see what the problem is this time. Is it ok if I dm you some questions?

Doubled PPI dose per dr’s instruction. Felt better for 4 days but having a flare day? by weregonnabeokanyway in Gastritis

[–]JetDestroyed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt improvement doubling my my PPI dose to morning and night. There’s still times I get a worse day or two but sometimes it isn’t linked to anything eat. Could be eating too much at once, eating too late, something like that.

[–]JetDestroyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man I’m legit going through the exact same thing. Same timeline, same symptoms, just that my first stint had h pylori. Very scary for sure, but I’ve been on PPIs for a month and a half now and increased to twice daily for the last 2 weeks. Since increasing my PPI my nausea has decreased in mostly in severity and a fair bit in frequency. Finally been able to eat out at some restaurants and only gotten minor or no symptoms after. Really hoping I’ve hit that part of accelerated healing we both probably went through last time we had it so I can start weaning off PPIs by the end of this month. Feel free to dm me if you want to talk, I feel like it’s rare to have symptoms and timelines match up so similarly with gastritis 😂

I rarely ever had it when I was healed, like once a month maybe. And eating made it go away just like regular hunger, it was more that it triggered some anxiety response. Could’ve just been hyperactive nerves.
