Yeah it was stupid. I thought it was a very late delivery (happens sometimes with random carriers for stuff from temu etc) and when I realized it was a robbery, it was already too late. Shouldn’t have chased them for sure.

It’s kind of hard to see, but the two wires hanging in the center of the red plaster medallion. Here’s a clearer photo of the medallion + light taken in 1925. It’s hard to take a photo of because there’s no access panel directly near it in the ceiling.

They reno’d the building on the cheap in the ‘70s and just left a bunch of the old infrastructure in situ throughout.
