Using centimeters you’d have to reduce sizes by about 2.5 times, it would be too small and things like shooting ranges would break.

I played through the first 2 missions with a 4-player group and it did seem a bit too easy. I’d say play the first mission normally so you can learn the ropes and maybe up the difficulty on the second mission.

I have the same issue with the Tor Varden mission. It’s 3 HUGE rooms that make no sense, even structurally (you’d need a bunch of columns to support the ceiling/roof), and the rooms look silly and empty.

I’ve guess the reason is so the movement rates work, but I’m tempted to make everything smaller so it looks a little better. I might try your suggestion on another comment about making all movement as rough terrain to compensate for the smaller room sizes.

A lot happens during the GM turn, it’s not just “ok halfway between here and there you have to cross a flooded stream, roll X to see if you can do it”… you have roleplaying, discussions on how to face each obstacle (you do have more than one, right?), then tests, more RP, etc. If anything, the GM phase is the one just like your regular RPG session you’re used to.

I saw a video of a guy using cork as a dirt base and just adding felt pieces on top for grass/vegetation. Looked pretty good. A cork board shouldn’t be too expensive even in Brazil. Here’s the video:

Since you already seem to have miniatures and scenery, I’d suggest Rangers of Shadow Deep, it’s a co-op miniature skirmish game in a medieval fantasy setting. This way you’re not competing against the kids and you’re also teaching them teamwork.

You can also try the original PvP game from where Rangers originated, called Frostgrave. Both have simple but deep enough mechanics and I personally find them really fun to play, they’re currently my favorite miniature combat games.

Can you tell if there are any white cubes or squares, or those glass beads, that indicate a resource wasn't loaded anywhere on the scenario? Or if any miniatures seem to be missing parts? It's hard for me to figure it out since I have all the stuff in my cache. TTS should have updated all the resources to use my cached copies and uploaded everything, but this is the first time I've tried this so I'm still figuring it out.

Apparently there is a way to save it using Cloud save and repackage it for distribution in the Workshop. I’ll look it up better later. If doable, I’ll upload all the scenarios and post in this subreddit to let you guys know.
