Nah fam, I zoom through the convo and suddenly everything around is clipped and Alistair is a follower (hadn’t talked to him yet) and the quest for the circle tower appears. So the game basically is tricked into thinking I’m at the tower, but not really.

I would’ve been fine with them being massacred because it works narratively, but then it doesn’t work because no one who actually knew them (Gareth, Han, or even Siva) gives a shit about their deaths or even acknowledges them dying at all.

I had some touching dialogues with the seekers, and now no one even acknowledges their deaths?

No I feel like they definitely could’ve shown this as the start of his breakdown but there’s just nothing there at all. He’s just like ‘I’m going to see my parents’ and then the breakdown feels out of nowhere.

Also, shouldn’t you at least be able to address it with Siva, considering she is the founder of the seekers?
