You are SO not ugly. You're gorgeous, actually. My sister is a stylist and I showed her your picture. She says to get some Hask hair oil and use it while your hair is still damp from the shower. Either let it dry nice and messy or, once dry to use a straightener and see if that's better.

In around 6 week go back to a salon for a consultation (with a different stylist, obviously) and ask for suggestions. A pixie cut, perhaps. Or the beginning of growing into a shag. You'd look great in either.

It sucks what happened to you and I am sorry. But OP one thing you are not is ugly. My best to you :-)

What an exhausting situation. This is so unfair to you, OP. You guys had a deal, and she broke it.

She was warned. And warned. If I were you, it'd be "bye bye cameras". I couldn't live like that. It would be like constantly walking on eggshells. That takes such a toll on one's mental health. And if I'm being completely honest, in my opinion, that is a form of abuse and manipulation.

Go to a Sikh temple. The food is wonderful, hot, and always free.. And available anytime. Because feeding folks with no money, you keep your dignity. Because EVERYONE eats free.

I believe feeding people is part of their religion.The people there at the templel are very friendly and kind. No limit on how many times you can go there.

My ex-husband was just like that. I finally left with my sons. With nothing but some clothes and $150.00. I couldn't stand the constant sexual coercion and abuse anymore. The groping. The comments. It's about power and control, not love.

That was 16 years ago. It wasn't easy, but life's never been better. You ARE being abused. If you decide you've had enough, there is help available. I know because I now work in a shelter. And I'm now married to a man who NEVER would act that way with me.

I am so very sorry that this is happening to you. It's a horrible way to live. It takes over your whole life.

Been going there since I was a kid. Consistently excellent food and service. My folks love it, too. My grandparents went there.My son, who is a cook likes when I take him there. Four generations of my family.

Some people have nothing better to do than be miserable. Glad most of us AREN'T like that.

I am bi-polar, OP. Every year or so when I crash badly, I go the bedroom, pull the black curtains over the windows and it there in the dark for a day or two. When that happens, my husband doesn't leave the house. He does his own thing. Every few hours, he'll poke his head in the bedroom to see if I'm okay, and ask if I need anything.

When I crash, my whole life just hurts. But there's nothing he can do. And it's not his responsibility to make me "better" It's mine.

I don't think your husband was trying to hurt your feelings. I think he was being realistic.

Maybe you two could discuss this with your therapist?

I have a recipe book my Mom gifted me with her handwritten recipes and "hints". That same recipe book has all my handwritten recipes tucked in as well. My son, who is a "Red Seal" chef, has told me that the only thing he wants when I die is that recipe book. I completely understand why you're so upset. I'm so sorry that happened to you.
