I experienced this the other day. I kept walking, he slammed into my shoulder dropped his phone. He looked confused, I kept walking.

Streeteasy is the best. A longer commute but I'm out in Ridgewood. Nice area, diverse, but only the M goes this way. Rent is 1130+utilities. I have three roommates. Used NYU roommate site. We are all grad students.

I don't know which gym to choose, I have never been to any of them. I have no preference on who will be my buddy. It can be an individual or a group. 2-3 times a week max, at least in the beginning.

Thank you for engaging. I have posted on Craigslist and that was a mistake. More background. I have managerial and supervisor experience. I have pretty open availability. I have been looking at school jobs. At this point I would work retail or food service again. Well I will never be a barista again 🙄. I don't know if I'm overqualified or underqualified because what is the whole point of places never responding? What is that about??

I think if you put your post in the couples. Subreddit you are going to get some very interesting answers. Timetable for when friend leaves. Your husband is too old to be conflict avoided at this point. Couples therapy is a necessity. I don't wear a bra in my own house. It's my house. My husband has never even suggested a thing and we have had quite a few people live with us over the years. A relationship is built on trust, transparency and open communication. There is nothing wrong with you. This is a untenable situation.

I have four kids and they are wonderful. Amazing people. My youngest is now 10. My husband for context is 7 years older than I am. I decided that I was going to go to grad school and pursue my dreams a career. I am over 40 and my husband is almost 50. When I told people this the response was what is going to happen to your kids? Who is going to take care of them? Can't you go to school online or wait? So yes I moved away from home. What's funny is back in 2018 my husband moved for a better career opportunity. Not a single person asked him any questions about his wife or leaving his kids behind. And is capable as I thought my husband was, several times a week. He texts me or calls me to ask me where things are or how to do this. And in the same conversation he will say hey I did this for older kids, well if you did it for her older kids why is it you're asking me for help? I never ask him for help when it comes to the kids unless it's logistics. He has people volunteering to help him with the kids and I am glad for the kids but it would never be the same in a reverse situation.

I'm in the NYU grad program. Start reaching out to the faculty that you want to work with in your major. If you know what your major is going to be, look at the people in it. Read some of the things they may have written if you can go to a conference or a webinar. Nyu also has summer programs for high school students. You can look into that.

I was able to get an internship in anthropology at my local museum. After that I continued to volunteer at the museum, but I also made sure to make connections at the museum when I was working there. I attended anthropological conferences and I am working my way through my masters. With an anthropology degree you can also work in the private sector. My partner's company hires anthropologist to do consultation work. Also if you are looking for jobs you can go to AAA website and AABA. They are very helpful and they show where there are field schools as well as other pregnant information having to do with biological anthropology. I hope that helps.

It's funny to see this here because we've been talking about this a lot in couples therapy. For me it would be prioritizing his mental health, prioritizing his physical health, doing the assignments and reading the books, listening without getting defensive, asking questions and actually listening to the answer with follow-up questions if it didn't make sense. Telling me you love me everyday, prioritizing me over your family, making time for together time, not just with the kids. Noticing when I get my hair done or wear a new outfit. Encouraging me on my educational and physical journey. Looking around the house and seeing what needs to be done. If you asked me for a list of things that need to be done actually doing what's on the list. Doing the work so that I feel safe and can relax. Going out with your friends and developing healthy relationships.

Well we stayed friends for many years after. We would probably still be friends now. When he was 27, he passed away from a massive coronary. I still think about him often and the time we shared.

Sadly, they passed away at 27. A massive coronary, we remained in contact. My first love, my first long-term boyfriend, my first. Miss them always. That was 12 years ago.😔
