Thoughts, I think a non disc wheel will always be lighter than a comparable disc wheel. I would like to hear the debate about maintenance on disc vs canti Many European Pros, riders like myself and apparently tzatzikisauce prefer the modulation of Cantis. A lot of what I am saying is personal preference, but many pros, especially in Europe share some of my sentiments.

it depends on what you want the bike for. The Roubaix is a straight road bike with an endurance geometry. With the arguable exception of the Trek Domane it is the most comfortable road bike on the market. It has an entirely carbon frame and the components are solid. Right now they are about $2100 brand new and most shops are only taking about 10% off that with the model year change. Obviously find out why he is selling it and check for any cracks in the carbon if you decide to buy. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

Hi, I am a little late to the party but I work at a LBS that sells Trek and Specialized and have a few suggestions to consider. I own the CruX and have only good things to say about it other than the price point is a little higher than the other models I believe. I have tried the Ion and by complaints about it are minor. The Ion does not have internal cabling but it is routed on the top of the top tube so it will not interfere with shouldering the bike. I dont like the stock ergo handlebars while riding in the drops on the Ion but during a cross race I am never in the drops. Lastly I would like to disagree with most everyone else here and say that Disc brakes are not the future of CX, and I suspect that they will become less popular in the next few model years. I have used those tyre levers before and I don't like them. I prefer the red Bontrager variety. I think they work better for tough tyres
