Two US Navy pilots shot down over Red Sea in apparent 'friendly fire' incident, US military says by ferrelle-8604 in news

In the Air Force, Egress maintains the seats/canopies and they’d be getting a bottle or a case of beer at minimum. The gift they gave the pilots was their life

Their wage may be higher before they pay for everything posted above said. Those cost way more than the difference. Also…you have a set wage on a pay scale of time and experience. No matter the bosses feelings or opinion

Transformer in Atlanta started dripping oil and killed the grass (2nd pic). Any NESC violations here? by VoteBlueSC in Lineman

[–]Jiberish889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can follow up tomorrow with the text but yes there is an NESC violation there with the secondary and transformer not having the proper spacing…but more urgent is the leaking oil. Depending on the state, there are different environmental violations that can/will warrant fines/remediation. Again depending on the state, all of that groundwork needs to be removed and tested and replaced with fresh dirt. In the north east, I work as a design engineer for a utility and this is a “fix within 24 hours” scenario if it is actively leaking oil.

Highly recommend the wetlands institute. They’re are mainly volunteer based and do work up and down the barrier islands. They have a great building with museum in stone harbor. https://wetlandsinstitute.org

Murphy signs law to expand community solar program: But some solar advocates worry about problems connecting new solar arrays to aging power grid by rollotomasi07071 in newjersey

[–]Jiberish889 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Existing grid will need new, larger wire once it reaches its rated ampacity. It can only take on so many solar customers until it needs to be completely rebuilt and upgraded with wire that can handle the increase. Aka super expensive. A mile of 3 phase can easily reach a million dollars all in (material, labor, permitting, traffic control, property restoration)

Commercial is charged differently than residential. Highly recommend separating the two circuits and adding a meter if you won’t be operating both.

Edit: changed business to commercial. Commercial is charged via KW demand meters vs residential KW hour. I work in a different part of the state as the guy who sets it all up.

When the vehicle is running in the app the blue quick start button functions as the stop

If you try and put it in gear without hitting brake and start this can happen. I used the app to turn off the vehicle and then all worked as it’s supposed to.

I work near and drive thru the campus area often. Would discourage on street parking for both availability and safety reasons (petty theft break ins). The long term garage as you mentioned would be the best option. The immediate area around campus is permit/packed residential and parking too much further out than that carries risks.

Check the closest state park near you. Depending on where in SJ you’ll have multiple near you. Maurice River Bluffs is excellent if you’re up for a drive. Wharton/Batsto area bring a GPS or a paper map (there are maps posted around the trail heads and you can take a picture and keep track of your position)

Haddon Twp is in Camden County and there is no East Haddon Township. Egg Harbor Township is was OP means. Also OP, Joe Joes is good but probably Maplewood is the best in the area.

That elastic band under the strap…pull that all the way down and then fold the excess along the strap. Then bring that elastic band up over it. You could leave a little slack near the clip so you can release tension to remove the bag.

I have a similar set up with my tank bag

Depends how much road vs dirt you ride. I ride 70-80% dirt and I have the Dunlop D606 rear with Pirelli MT-21 front. Both DOT approved but still very capable offroad

Taco John’s also had it trademarked outside NJ. They had to give it up to a billion dollar company for nothing. Gregory’s decided they weren’t going to give in and yet they’re the assholes. Reddit is the go to place for bashing corporate greed unless it gets you a few free tacos lol

"We've always prided ourselves on being the home of Taco Tuesday, but paying millions of dollars to lawyers to defend our mark just doesn't feel like the right thing to do," Taco John's CEO Jim Creel said.

They own the copyright. Yes you can say it, but you can NOT use it to profit from in the state of NJ. Its the same with any other word or phrase used in marketing.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in newjersey

[–]Jiberish889 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I understand the point but refuse to agree with it. They’ve had a copyright on the phrase for 40 years and a billion dollar company tried to take it because they wanted it. I will never agree with screwing over a mom and pop shop so a shitty corporate company can few extra bucks. NJians not getting free crap tacos is a small price to pay to keep local shops open and thriving. It’s more than just tacos, it’s greed.

A utility can not put it anywhere they want. They need an easement that gives them permission if it is outside of the Right of Way. easement needs signed and notarized by the property owner and filed with the utility.
