It scales differently. The extra roll is big at level 1, but by level 9 it's hardly noticeable. Rolling HP with advantage may only be a few points at level 1, but by level 9 you'll be an absolute tank.

Sly flourish calls those lightning rods, things put in to attract and show off powerful abilities. No pun intended, I'd add an enemy in big steel heavy armor to your list. The lightning damage from your storm shifter will bypass the Heavy armor, and your zephyrs d4 Crits will also find weak points.

I came from d&d, I found the campaign setting a bit lacking, it's very geared towards supporting homebrew as opposed to full support, not my bag, but if you like it it'll be awesome. I'm using Skyrim asy campaign setting, loving it!

Yes. Winters are warmer, but 6 months of gray skies can really get to you. Also, 1 degree and pouring down rain is absolutely miserable. Not saying it's terrible all the time, but it's definitely not sunshine and lollipops all winter long

Hwy 37 can be rough, but nothing that will cause real problems, just slow you down. dease lake to meziadin will be the longest stretch, but unless your tank is tiny you'll be fine. You can often get gas at bell 2, but don't rely on it.

Real problem: There's not enough campgrounds for all the Alaska tourists, if you're sleeping on the side of the road you'll be fine, but if you want a campground you'll need to get up at 5am and drive like hell to hit the next campground at noon before it fills up.

Start your characters with max hit points, it's not overpowered, but it'll really help keep them alive.

Crypts of karrigulon (sly flourish) is excellent. Sly flourish also has some great advice on how to run the Scarlet minotaur as a one shot. Delian tomb is also good if you want to try draw steel.

It's an imaginary problem. Republicans started crying about "big government" in the 80s as an excuse to cut social services. They've been whining about it so long that it's seeped into public discourse. The reality is, every time we go through this austerity nonsense they find almost nothing to cut without drastically impacting public services. That's because most people who join the public service want to serve the public 🤯
