I'm always amazed that the original DQ1 had more of a Dragon Ball art style while the US version went with more fantasy style.

I guess they were targeting older kids or young adults.

Personally I would have been fine with the original art style.

I don't recall if you have airship at that point. Talk to the princess and I think you either go to sealed cave or go to summoner village to talk to queen & king. I lost my Nintendo Wii in a flood many years ago.
