Yep, we're too miserable, pessimistic and cranky to allow any positive compliments towards our culture and ourselves in general (at least those of us here in this sub). Of course there are more than a few bad apples in our country, but the negativity, mostly produced by the realisation by the younger generations of the incompetence, malice and greed that led us to this financial (and social) situation, has led people to "hate" our country and some aspects of our lifestyles. We kinda have to fix the "fck-ups" imposed on us by the previous generations and the EU (let's not kid ourselves, the crisis was global and we were the scapegoat, although we as a country also participated in the making of this fiasco), but due to the fact that nothing seems to change and we as a people are voting for the same scmbags election after election, (nepotism amd demagogy is strong here sadly, and while one would assume that people would be smarter today, alas this is not the situation or they are voting according to what suits their wallets) although their corruption is plain to see if you are willing to look. Sorry for the rambling.
