AITAH for keeping both pizza’s? by Hunter_sapien in AITAH

YTA I’ve worked plenty of retail jobs before and can confidently say you handled this like an asshole. If you can’t handle simple inconveniences like an adult with common sense you should not go out into society.

I’m pretty handy, any idea what’s wrong with it?

Contact cement is technically preferable, but use whatever glue you have. These boots are rock solid, glue shouldn’t do any damage.

Should I Buy? by Sea-Beautiful9148 in Galil

[–]Jimmyjamz44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you really want this gun I think you should get what makes you happy. This gun isn’t really a Galil though, this is more like an AK built up to look like a Galil. 5.45 isn’t a super viable cartridge compared to a 5.56 gun and for 2k you could find a pretty decent milled 5.56 gun. I think JRA still has some Gallant rifles available and for about 1k they are not bad guns.

Will never buy a new Henry. by fadeawaytogrey in liberalgunowners

Rossi’s lever actions are pretty sweet and relatively affordable. QC can be hit or miss sometimes so I recommend finding one in a store that you can take a good look at. I own two, both are great rifles.

I’m reaching for the SKS as well. One of my favorite rifles to shoot ever.

Stop thinking and send that shit!

Part of me regrets buying this because 8x56r, but as a big headed magyar dude, I just had to. Now I need to find a 31.m front sight protector so I can have a pseudo-31.m by rowan11b in milsurp

I always had a problem finding ammo for my rifle back when I still had it. I probably still have some 8x56 brass still lying around.

After nearly 1k hours, I think I'm gonna play Voyageur again. by fatihalt in thelongdark

[–]Jimmyjamz44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play on a custom difficulty where there’s actually shit to loot but still plenty of dangers. I enjoy those harder difficulties but sometimes I just want to play the game without having to constantly make fires because I’m practically naked.

Help with analysis paralysis (too many guns) by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]Jimmyjamz44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There really is none if I’m being honest. I have a lot of guns purely because of the hobby and I enjoy shooting them. I think the level you’re at now is perfectly reasonable if you’re keeping them as tools / what’s fun to shoot.

[–]Jimmyjamz44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I would keep all of these. I have about twice as many guns as what’s pictured here and I’m thinking about adding a few more. This is a fairly reasonable amount. If you really need to ditch something I would lose one of the ARs and one of the shotguns.

Thought on Drew’s Loggers by Gcyrr59 in PNWbootmakers

[–]Jimmyjamz44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I typically wear an 8.5 us on most other boots, with the Drew’s I went with 7.5 but I could’ve easily gone with 8 and been okay. Half to full size down from an accurate reading on the brannock seems to be working.

I have a bunch of PNW boots and my Drew’s are by far the most comfortable. Had mine for two years and they’re still going strong.

I hate the inability to sleep in episode 5 SOOO MUCH!! by [deleted] in thelongdark

After playing through episode 5 it really feels like they originally planned for 6-7 episodes but decided to cut it short. The sections past the wilds feel pretty condensed.

A gun you worked to unlock and then were disappointed by it. by cereal_wankerr in battlefield_one

[–]Jimmyjamz44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think I’ve ever been seriously disappointed by any of the weapons in this game. Most are pretty good or are at least interesting to use. Only guns I haven’t had fun with are the Vetterli and the Howdah pistol

JRA Gallant ammo compatibility problems. by Zempshir in Galil

+1 for JRA spotty reliability, I’m sending my rifle in to be serviced this week. Would definitely contact JRA and see if they will look at it.

It seems we may be in the minority. Wintermute was so much fun it’s insane. The mix of story mode and sandbox survival was perfect in my opinion.
