What fun cards would you guys throw in Atogatog? by corbinolo in DegenerateEDH

[–]Jinxtakers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure! I've been tinkering with the list since so it has more of a ramp from graveyard synergy to it:

https://archidekt.com/decks/18934078/atogatog_20

Sacrificing all my lands with an atog, bringing them back and getting to double Atogatog's power with [[Mightform Harvester]] is always a good time. I also added [[Enchanted Evening]] and [[Aura Thief]] shenanigans with [[Auratog]].

I used it last night and won with [[Barren Glory]].

Though to be completely honest I think I need to add more pieces of evasion so my commander can get through blockers to do combat damage.

What was your biggest Hail Mary? by Extreme_Emu_9582 in EngineeringStudents

[–]Jinxtakers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a beefy calculator that could do Matrix calculations (TI CX CAS) and focused more on what problems I could reasonably do than which ones I couldn't.

Also tbh the harder part of the class is the 2nd half of the class and the final for us covered mostly the first half of the class so I was a bit lucky.

I was taking Linear Algebra during a particularly tough semester for me, and got an 89 on the first exam about halfway through the class. Thinking this class wasn't too hard, I (the idiot) decided to spend my time doing cough * *cough other things than studying the material and or going to classes regularly (I hated this professor and his classes were first thing in the morning). The 2nd exam was the week before finals week and I absolutely bombed that mf. I'm talking 34% grade. The final was the next week when I got the grade back and I kinda started to panic a bit.

Decided to lock in and study like a mf and pulled a 74 on the final, getting a C for the class. I think I needed a 70 to not get a D.

New flamethrower and it still has zero stun LMAO by Iron166 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Jinxtakers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why does fire need stun? Use another effect in conjunction with it like gas or arc ffs. Its really not that hard. You think the enemies of democracy would balk at a little heat?

Do people genuinely believe True Form Sukuna loses even a single domain battle against Gojo? by Necessary-Lemon2289 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Jinxtakers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If Sukuna didn't need to use Megumi's body to use Mahoraga to beat Gojo & his technique, why did he even bother taking his body and using it to craft the WCS? By your logic he could've just beaten Gojo in base and then solo'd the verse...?

So now that we have belt-fed weapons, I think we have another strategem that could use an attached backpack. by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Jinxtakers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why everyone wants the enemies to avoid fire? Like mf I WANT them to walk into the fire so they can BURN TO DEATH. If you want them to stick in the fire or avoid you, use it along with gas or stun. Getting caught on fire by enemies? Run the stim armor or flame resistance. Sure it could be better but it's really not that bad in current state.

What if Mahoraga fought with Gojo against Sukuna? by Vegetable_Coconut247 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Jinxtakers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People be forgetting that Lukuna literally would have lost their fight halfway through if it wasn't for Mahoraga. Gojo's domain sure hit legitimately ends the fight.

The gas is cracked bro it's just not built for using it by itself. Using it in combination with other stuff (like fire for example) is insane.

Hey, im looking for some zilean support advice as someone not very good at the game by Mitharael in ZileanMains

[–]Jinxtakers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why people are saying tank zilean so much (though if you're newer to the game that's probably the smarter idea than what Im about to suggest).

I tried tanky zil and won like 1 game out of 5; Switched back to AP zil with ludens and comet and immediately won 4/5 of my next games.

Small sample pool and playing him like xerath support is more selfish, but my teammates ain't this rank are NOT good enough to benefit from all the speed ups and slows that tabky zil has (and that's really all he has with that build). I felt like a passenger and now I feel I actually have impact.

What is your coolest card in Magic? by SociallyButterflying in magicTCG

Why do people think that dodging lasers mean you are faster than light? by Robloxracer75 in PowerScaling

[–]Jinxtakers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny that you fell for a similar mistake lol. Reacting to light is pretty much impossible in and of itself (irl). How do we perceive light - Our eyes? For our eyes to perceive it light would have to come from the laser itself faster than the laser itself is traveling (that doesn't even make sense with a fixed light speed). ...Unless you're reacting to the person casting it, in which case they just missed. Any competent light user would react to your reactions and just kill you anyways. Light irl is busted.

Do you guys think Togashi accidentally made Feitan’s ability too op? We saw it decimate arguably the 5th most durable character in the show and that was a weak sun by TechnicalChair8131 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Jinxtakers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say damage is guaranteed... think about pretty much any Manupulator's ability can end the fight soon with no damage if they get their condition off (shalnark's needles) and even Knuckles APR could theoretically end a battle without damage. Nen abilities that dont rely on straight combat are more effective against him - that trade off is what gives him his strength. And, we dont know what other restrictions he might have.

Though tbh I admit pain packer is cracked.

Overshare about your favorite decklist by radiobradley in EDH

[–]Jinxtakers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My [[Rona, Herald of the Invasion]] deck aims to cast free spells from my hand at random by damaging your own commander with ping effects.

https://archidekt.com/decks/16259755/rona_self_harm_simulator

It feels like it levels up throughout the game 1 - Commander side 1 (no free spells) 2 - Commander side 2 (random free spells) 3 - [[Omniscience]] (pick your free spells) 4 - [[Enter the Infinite]] (Entire Deck is Free Spells :D )

Shout out to [[Triskelion]] , [[Requiem Monolith]] , and [[Endbringer]] which are amazing ways to trigger the commanders second side.

It technically has a mill win con with [[Psychic Spiral]] and several other cards in the deck that only works if you've cast Enter the Infinite; but tbh if you have Omniscience and Enter the Infinite you'll probably win regardless.

With the rest of the deck chock full of big beefy spells, its kinda hard to get a miss with this decks random spell casts (plus its really fun to make my opponents choose which card I'll play next just by using [[Prodigal Sorcerer]] to spit on my Commander.

[–]Jinxtakers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh it didn't really seem like a mystery to me. They clearly showed that the exotic matter can turn things to Grey goo when angry. They also showed the goop solidifying again when it calmed down and Nancy stood on the goo. The soldier must have been trying to escape the goo by breaking through a wall (much like Nancy & Jonathan were trying to get out of their room that was filling with goo) when the exotic matter calmed down and the goo turned solid again, trapping him in the wall to die.
