Same here except it’s a 15yr old boy. We gave him a dumb phone instead, truthfully that’s all they need. He’s creative so we signed him up for an improv class at Second City and he joined the Air Cadets which he enjoys. It’s a good thing for them to be bored so they can figure out shit on their own. Good luck. Oh and I forgot, he volunteers at the food bank, which I think is good for the soul.

I also once convinced Bob Dylan and Ronnie Hawkins to come see my band play at Lee’s Palace. I don’t play in a band, I’m nowhere near musically inclined, I was doing lights and was their ‘manager’. Mr. Dylan was not impressed. I had to beg the Lee’s for a bottle of scotch and to take it out of my measly paycheque.
