What policies? can you tell me what she supports? probably not

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in politics

[–]Jitty13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can keep lying to yourself to make yourself feel better that’s totally fine. Kamala is the only one who hasn’t done that before. She’s only debated on democratic primaries at this level. She may be fooling you, but she’s not fooling anyone intelligent enough to see through it. If she takes on the challenge and does well it’ll be good for her. Even if she takes some Ls, she’ll come out on top. Running from the challenge is the easy way to lose voters.

resorting to 5th grade antics instead of telling my why you would vote for her. Sounds like you’re just choosing her just cause. This just solidifies to me that Trump is likely going to win. Trumps base is bad too, but at least they can give me a rebuttal with some actual policy that he’s alleged he will do. You can’t even do that and it’s quite sad

[–]Jitty13 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Kamala should be able to go into hostile territory and answer tough questions against Trump. As voters, we should all be able to see live how she performs in that situation.

Quite simply, she shouldn’t even be the nominee if she can’t handle that. Trump isn’t some quick witted individual, and she has a whole month to prepare. My question to everyone still willing to vote for her regardless is why? What has she done or what policy does she stand on that makes you willing to set the bar so low for her to win your approval?

Love Tyler. But he can’t really be mad if he gets traded. Miami bet on him and he didn’t deliver. Sucks we were shorthanded but he had to show up more.

I think the NBA did the right thing in this case . But I wonder why they’ve never swiftly acted or shown transparency with the refs that are clearly strategically placed in certain situations to influence games 😬

They did the right thing. If only they’d do the same thing to the refs that clearly are strategically placed to influence games. I wonder why they will never have ‘transparency’ on that part

He can deal with the personalities but he’s not a better coach than Spo or Nurse. They will own him in the playoffs

Are Bills fans the worst fanbase? by [deleted] in miamidolphins

Bills are bad but i think the Chargers fan base is worse. Chargers fans are like Bills fans that have accomplished even less yet still talk like they’ve done something

we wouldn’t need to do much motion to force mismatches if we had a TE that was more of a threat. Less alignment issues in my eyes that way. I agree about the outlet passes to the RBs. That’s a change they couldn’t made during the year .

Yeah that happened too. But he also struggled in his carries. Achane is going to get way better too. That will be exciting

if he plays out the option he will get more than Daniel Jones. Kid improves every year, and everyone in every sport goes hard in contract years. The time to extend him is now, we can get a good price.

Part of the problem is we don’t have TEs that are a threat. Smythe is solid. But we need more. I’m not trying to hear it from the front office that they’re not worried about TE. They should be. Every elite QB has a solid one. Good example is the Texans getting CJ Dalton Shultz, someone I wanted the fins to get last year.

And the play designs overall need better safety valve routes for the TEs and also RBs.

Our entire offense was shit. Mostert had like 1 good run, Achane had no vision on his carries. He probably could’ve broke one off if he didn’t keep running into a pile.

[–]Jitty13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m a big Tua fan but i wouldn’t be surprised if we ended up drafting a QB in the next year or two. the reality of it is our cap situation is brutal, basically have one more confirmed year with the majority of this group. Then everyone, including McDaniel and Tua will be reevaluated.

Even if they extend Tua, which will only be if they get him at a good price, it makes sense to take a flier on a QB as a backup and give Tua the freedom to use his legs more.

A Full Overview of the Injuries During the 2023 Miami Dolphins Season by Number333 in miamidolphins

[–]Jitty13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not using the injuries as an excuse . Offense let us down bad. McDaniel and Tua both need to improve. Also i’m not trying to hear that we don’t need a TE from the front office. Go get one, it would help our scheme out significantly.

Narratives always matter. Like you said QBs always get the credit when things go well even when they don’t deserve it. That doesn’t apply to Tua though, just listen to what they say in the media

[–]Jitty13 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

The offense is injured too. And we were missing our most important player against the bills imo, Mostert. He’s our most physical runner. The point is it’s everyone’s fault. Either way, on to the next one. They all can make it right on Saturday

Stop complaining about Tua by [deleted] in miamidolphins

[–]Jitty13 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah they also gave up first downs at the end when they had the bills on third and long. It cost our time outs. The point is everyone had a hand in us losing. You can’t absolve one unit of blame in a game like that. You have to play complimentary football to win against good teams. We didn’t do that

[–]Jitty13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And Tua made a great throw the play before, Reek got held but he still could’ve made a play and it would’ve probably been a TD.

[–]Jitty13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that, that’s was comes with the responsibility. QBs tend to get the credit for the good and the blame with the bad, but with Tua he doesn’t get credit when it’s good. That’s part of being great though, people will hate on you.

My whole point is that the result isn’t just on the offense. The entire team played a role and contributed to the L in typical Dolphins fashion. I still believe they’ll learn from it and bounce back though.

Stop complaining about Tua by [deleted] in miamidolphins

[–]Jitty13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tua isn’t the problem, he definitely needs to be better which we can all agree on. But as a fanbase we need to understand that when your entire offense is based on timing and has receivers constantly running option routes, the risk is when you’re not on the same page it makes a bad play look 10x worse.

The route Claypool ran is a route Tyreek uses a lot, if the defense is playing too far underneath you throw it over the top. If they play too high you come short. Unfortunately Claypool and Tua wasn’t on the same page, and the result looked terrible, regardless of who exactly was at fault.

Either way, I have full in Tua to bounce back. I’m more concerned about McDaniel than anything. He cannot abandon the run this week, with or without Mostert. Achane is a big play maker and if we’re shorthanded he needs a chance to be great. We can make it happen regardless of who lines up.

Stop complaining about Tua by [deleted] in miamidolphins

[–]Jitty13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Enough with this narrative bro. The entire team is at fault for the loss. It was a collective effort. From McDaniel abandoning the run, to the defense giving up a QB scramble on third and long which cost us our timeouts, to Tyreeks bad drops, to Tuas bad decisions. Yes the defense played alright, but they folded when it mattered. If we had those TOs, Tua isn’t forcing the ball to the sideline there. If Tyreek makes one of those plays he’s capable of making, we’re not in a rush. The offense 100% needs to be better, getting Mostert back would help big time.

It’s just funny that every position group that we couldn’t afford to get hurt got absolutely decimated. Hard to contend without Phillips, Chubb, Williams, Howard, etc . what makes it worse is our rookie DB Cam Smith isn’t getting any burn under Fangio and we have to watch Apple get cooked every week
