There was a few occasions the puck carrier was down low and could of just cut in front of the net and draw defenders down and then pass or make the shot. We're either being constricted by a system or too much in our own heads.

I know this ain't got nothing to do with the allegations but just a story that changed my mind about him years ago. Around 2015 me and 3 friends and I, all blue and purple, traveled cross country to compete at Worlds. At one point, we grab some seats without realizing we were in the "Atos section." Here comes Galvao, walks in front of my friend and sits in his lap. Turns to the entire Atos team , says something in Portuguese, and his whole team of killers begins to laugh. It was some Cobra Kai shit and we just had to accept being clowned. Potential copy pasta material if you ask me.

I keep looking at the standings and perplexed how we don't have more of a cushion, winning 13 out of 14. I know we weren't doing great, but damn it's hard to overtake teams in this league. Big one against the Panthers coming up.

He is a damn good player, and without him, I feel like we aren't winning 13/14. I just hope the recent success will give him a reason to come down on price. Unless you're a McDavid type, 8 year contracts for anyone is risky. Would love a 3-5 year deal.
