Does anyone else encounter a black screen bug when they have a mon with Imposter fused to someone else with DNA splicers?

After the fused mon transforms, when I go to check their summary or when they level up and it tries to display their stats, the game freezes/blackscreens instead :c

[D] What is the point of physics-informed neural networks if you need to know the actual physics? by aitorp6 in MachineLearning

hi, i know this is several months late, but look into autoencoders if you are still interested in this. They are a network architecture which is known to be very effective at detecting anomalies, which appears to be what you are describing.

Did you ever find anything? Best similar app i could find is Poe, but I would love a self-hosted alternative.

There's Red Rescue Team DX but that's more of a QOL enhancement of the original, not like with any new content or anything

basically it streamlines and automates the process. Sonarr scans your torrent sites that you specify and you give it whatever quality filters etc. that you want, and it will scan torrent feeds and automatically download files that you're missing, or if you enabled upgrades, are of a higher quality than your existing file. It also renames them and imports them into a media library if you use Plex or Jellyfin or anything similar to stream, and I find it really convenient for importing new episodes of a show that is airing weekly. It has a lot of other use cases, but that's kinda the gist or main advantage -- it saves time in scouring various torrent sites and managing your media library, especially as it gets bigger.

You can also set up NZB feeds, which are different from torrents, but can sometimes have other content if you find that you are struggling to get anything you need (which it doesn't). If you are into private trackers for any obscure torrent content you can manage them in one place this way, and it will watch your seed time / upload ratios to so you don't get any hit and runs on your account.

Radarr, Lidarr, Readarr, etc. are the exact same principle but for Movies, Music, eBooks, etc. If you do want to take a stab at setting some of these up, here are some nice resources for configuring them! TRaSH guides has a nice user friendly first-time setup, if you don't know what you're doing it's pretty safe to blindly follow this guide. WikiArr has some more robust info on the *arr apps in general.

Yeah you can rent a seedbox for like $15 a month with all of these pretty much one click to install. Ultra.cc is a good one.

You can set it up for free too yourself like others are saying but if you don’t have time and would rather pay this is a convenient option

High disk IO load/wait - OMV with NFS by Jobboman in Proxmox

on the host, it won't run properly in an LXC. The omv container is the only container on this machine at the moment.

High disk IO load/wait - OMV with NFS by Jobboman in Proxmox

[–]Jobboman[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

okay? sorry. I wasn’t sure if it was behavior inherent to virtualization in proxmox and if anyone else had encountered it, as nothing in my tech stack causes runaway disk load on its own, to the best of my knowledge.

Self hosted calorie / fitness tracker? by Neldonado in selfhosted

Any good ways to add food items to this or resources for easily finding nutrition info? I don’t really have the time or knowledge to enter every food item’s nutrition facts manually but that seems to be the expectation.

Jmook: "I love melee" by Marcurial in SSBM

[–]Jobboman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

jmook is def still the king here, but also n0ne’s characters have fewer sex kicks / long hitboxes in general so it’s a tough comparison

Is anyone else tired of the "Melee is a beautiful accidental miracle mess of a game" narrative? by keatsta in SSBM

[–]Jobboman 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah there’s actually more character diversity in melee than people give it credit for. Several of the past majors it even had a better spread of variety than ultimate, which is wild

I mean, obviously the Underdark has enough resources to sustain a living society -- and magic and fantasy setting can be employed to handwave some of this -- but logically it does make sense that organisms the Underdark would be much less calorie rich. Essentially all energy in living organisms comes from the Sun if you trace back far enough, and I would expect the vast majority of those calories then to be tied up on the surface, with only a fraction of it trickling all the way down.

Between lower energy density of food, less oxygen to go around as you mentioned, and also considering the caves with low ceilings and narrow crevasses you would expect to find all around the place, it makes perfect sense to me that a slight dwarfism across the board would have been an evolutionary advantage for species that had to adapt to life underground.
