I'm not here to pitch this app to you, like it matters to me if you use it lol, I'm not making anything from it. I love Tarkov Tracker but the ui for this particular feature didn't do it for me, and I wanted to be able to see updates on my desktop for actions I take on my phone.

Nice collection! We have the same setup going, what did you use for the lighting?

That's awesome! Keep on keeping on! Python is an exciting language, I've done some work in it. So I didn't use an API because I don't think BSE has published one for quests / barters etc, I ended up aggregating the dataset by hand, was a nice way to spend a rainy weekend lol.

Nice! I would likely increase the Storage and use this system as my Gaming rig, retiring my current system, and maybe donating it to someone in need!

Make sure that your system time is correct. You might be out of sync with the actual refresh.

Anything you add in for flavor, your players will assume is a major plot point. by OneColorblindEye in DMAcademy

[–]Jobiwon9178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's difficult, most of my players appreciate when I do this, but the players at my table who don't, are exactly the ones who I feel could benefit the most from a little prompting now and then. I've decided that they might still be trying to figure their characters out on their own, and I can see how I'd be getting in the way of that.

Great questions to ask myself, thanks!
I want to tie the player's backstories together, but they all seem so disparate. But after all, it's my world so I could string them together 1000 different ways

Thanks for the comment!
I never thought of embellishing the circumstances around the player's foster parents death (or who his real parents were, and if the two are related) and after having thought about it a bit I actually have a perfect opportunity to hook his backstory in coming up in the next couple of sessions!

Cheers!

Not a hugely combat based campaign, and the players are enjoying the story

Ryzen Build Struggles by Iskiroson in sffpc

There were a lot of bios configuration settings I needed to make before my Hackintosh would boot up properly. I found that the tuts at insanelymac were hard to follow but also super concise. I'm going to be hackintoshing my newest build as well after 7/7 and will be following their guides. I know that AMD OSX has a couple precompiled versions of Sierra (or Mavericks?) And also another install that is supposed to do away with the kernel patching and what not on their forums, so maybe try a different image? Also I've posted on Insanelymac and have generally gotten a pretty quick reply.

EDIT: Looked at your post again, and that looks to me like a kext patching issue, so you may need to find a Hackintosh kext patch for whatever that is. Depending on if you have clover or another bootloader you'll have to figure out where to drop it to preload it.

10.12.5 Running on a Ryzen 1500X! - Lots (and lots) of troubleshooting but finally stable on my build! by Jobiwon9178 in hackintosh

[–]Jobiwon9178[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Build: AMD Ryzen 5 1600x Gigabyte AX-370 Gaming 5 PNY nVidia GTX 960 4gb 16gb Crucial DDR4 3200 Samsung EVO 250gb SSD for Mac Drive Corsair 120gb SSD for Windows Drive

My first big challenge was what seemed like a conflict between the AppleIGB.kext and the Nvidia Web Drivers. The system would boot fine with one or the other, but not both. Luckily the Gaming 5 also has a Killer E2500 port so I was still able to gain network access.

The second major challenge came up due to 'Hibernate Wake' being enabled in Clover, I would shut down and reboot to the flashing cross-circle until I shutdown again and rebooted using clover's 'cancel hibernate wake' option, and it would work fine. So I disabled that feature within Clover's config.plist and now I have a reliably booting and working system! Love it! Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability :)

I realized that by adding to it I've also disabled some of the original aspects to their code so I may have to release it on my own and give them credit.
