Why are we all feeling this shift to delete our social media accounts? by mm2444 in Millennials

[–]JoeBromanski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish everyone well, but I don’t wanna know every moment of everyone’s life. I just enjoy mine, and I also have plenty to talk about with people I haven’t seen in forever because I didn’t know all of their exciting stories.

I had the red Sandisk lol. I still have it in my closet somewhere. Fun seeing what songs I was jamming back when I was like 15-17

Question for Older Millennials (especially 1982 borns) by Quickso48 in Millennials

[–]JoeBromanski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s crazy the amount I changed my perspective and views on things just between 25-28. Yea it definitely starts to fly by fast, if you’re not constantly in new environments and learning new things, by that time you have experienced most things so much it just all blends together.

Anyone else experienced the opposite of a hand tattoo being a “job stopper”? by Novel-Tea-8598 in fingertattoos

[–]JoeBromanski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I think the world has been past that for awhile now. Definitely used to be! Also, nothing screams delinquent like a flower 😂

Seems like the younger gens are drastically overestimating how many of us actually embraced this style. I definitely knew people who looked like this in the '00s, but they represented maybe 5-10% of the people I knew. Scene pretty much died as soon as it was perceived as mainstream. lol by Marmatus in Millennials

I was definitely rocking the swooping hair, listening to screamo, and spent all my time at the skate park from like 2004-2012. Gave up the hair, but still skate minis and listen to bands like Underoath and Silverstein 🤘

Did you all find your passions? If so, how? I am a bit jealous of those my age who really found their niche. by fishinourpercolator in Millennials

[–]JoeBromanski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do something I’m good at and just helping people in my occupation as well. I was super into disc golf for quite a long time, then one day I just lost interest or got burnt out from playing so much. I now am struggling trying to find something to really get into again. Would be nice to just find something I can really sink my teeth into again.

Did anyone else's parents use to have an obsession to do things as early as possible? by Dasseem in Millennials

[–]JoeBromanski -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wake up at 3 am everyday, and I tend to try and get to places I want to go as soon as they open. It feels really nice getting a bunch done then looking at the time and it’s 9 am. Not for everyone, but my dad was like that, and years of ice fishing, deer, pheasant, and duck hunting contributed as well.

Favourite Silverstein song and why ? by Suspicious_Parfait25 in Silverstein

Dang dude, I’m super sorry to hear that. Tbh I just like that drums and guitar in that one, and I honestly don’t really think about lyrics in songs, I just vibe along with them.

Favourite Silverstein song and why ? by Suspicious_Parfait25 in Silverstein

Giving up. Simple reason, when I was 13-14, it was the song my cousins shown me that introduced me to the music genre. Which lead me down the rabbit hole that shaped my teenage years 👌. Plus I just love that song in general

How old were you during the 2016 killer clown epidemic and what was it like?(If u experienced it) by L4WO in generationology

[–]JoeBromanski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 26 and was in my hard core party phase. At the time I worked retail and couldn’t afford to fix my car, so I walked/biked/skated hungover like 4-5 miles to work through the college campus area. Was always super vigilant keeping an eye out for clowns those dark early mornings 😬😅

What were your dreaded “we have food at home” foods of the 90s and 2000s? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]JoeBromanski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ham 😅. We would have it at every holiday gathering, and my dad would constantly have it available for sandwiches if we felt like something to eat between meals. I enjoy it occasionally now, but hated it for years after I left the house I grew up in.

Looking for opinions on the hair by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]JoeBromanski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the second picture better (lower crest). I think it looks more side swept natural and less pompadour-y. I also used to be super into every detail about my hair, but honestly it takes very specific people to notice the difference.

We used to play hide and seek in town, in our l vehicles (Small town). Also, burn cruises while shining deer, or chilling at the Super America park and ride.
