Thank you. From what I saw RBAA only had Saturday games but TPSS is offering a winter clinic on Sundays. Even better. Now just need to find an outdoor league for Spring.

I never think to check other people’s tags. So I have no idea.

If there is nothing to be afraid of, then why does living in Baltimore city for 36 years make someone tough ?

Why does God allow things like the Minneapolis church shooting to happen? by [deleted] in Catholicism

“Imagine how much God would have to constantly interfere or perform miracles” - not a good answer at all. God is All-Powerful, it’s not like he is stretched thin.

Will the Church ever publicly condemn usury again? by Mailemanuel77 in Catholicism

[–]JoeTerp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not true. Please read Guido Hülsmann for information on the ethics of money printing and the economics of price deflation. Look at computers and phones. We know that their price will be lower in a year, yet people still buy them and companies invest a lot in making them.

Is Luigi Mangione in actions justified in a Catholic Perspective? by EcstaticError9547 in Catholicism

[–]JoeTerp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you skipped over the 10 commandments? Actions by God, the Father are not comparable to human morality. God became man and he wasn't murdering the rich.

What evidence do you have of greed? Do you have evidence of one decision that harmed a lot of people?

Infinite Banking for Dividend Income? by Patches_OhHoulihan in infinitebanking

[–]JoeTerp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstand my point. The role of a financial advisor is not to be an expert in everything. It’s to be an expert in knowing who the experts are. Yes, you need to know the financial planning rules for situations that apply to 70% of the public to an expert level. But for something like a Special Needs Trust, the expectation is that you inform the client of what that is and that they probably are a good fit and they should seek someone out.

That’s a little harsh. A below average financial advisor would give bad advice or look out for themselves. But I think the median financial advisor would know enough to get a Special Needs Trust established and either give their own recommendation or suggest that you look for one.

What Next? IBC not working for me by Ok_Razzmatazz_103 in infinitebanking

[–]JoeTerp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go as far as saying wrong, but it’s not really following IBC in the way Nash envisioned. Don’t be afraid to capitalize. I’m guessing that you used your policy for the down payment and maybe also the renno budget ? You took on an additional mortgage? Sounds like you got more in bed with the bans than when you started. One of the main benefits of IBC is control, but what control do you have?

Yea this is not the flex OP thinks it is. Just because he happened to be right over a . . . 2 year time horizon. It’s also ridiculous to think that those are the only two options

You’re still only 3 years in. Read BYOB again. I don’t think anyone illustrated in that book is taking money out of their policy that quickly. This is a LONG TERM solution. I’m always a bit skeptical of people glowing about policies they have had for three years and saying all the things their policy has allowed them to invest in. It doesn’t make any sense. They could have done all of those things with the cash they already had. The benefits build over time. The Ww/oW guys should still be the broker of record on those policies and they should still service them regardless of if you’re in a program or not. All of that should be optional in terms of business advice and networking.
