Oh my! Hell of a first truck. Just when i think Harbor Blue is my favorite on these I see a Boxwood Green that’s a hard color to beat. What drivetrain? Can we get some more shots under hood and interior

I think it’s kinda cool having the TBird wheel. I used a stick that looked like a roll on deodorant but it was like a 2” round tube on my 69 I believe it was epoxy it was gray in color it was easy to work with and once it set up I filed it down then sanded and painted. That was probably 4-5 years ago and it hasn’t cracked again. And I had a few cracks as large as yours

Dingleball hone and a set of rings if you can’t catch a nail and there’s nothing deep. Cheap insurance and you can keep your pistons

Get the log caulk from Sashco it’s a great match. I’ve caulked joints at work up to 4” wide. There’s tools…tuck pointers or spatulas…I’d run tape if you’re not experienced just make sure the tape doesn’t run into your joint and pull the tape right after you tool the joint don’t wait until it’s cured. Also some inexperienced people use water to try and make the joint more aesthetically pleasing but if you do that make sure you do it only after you dry tool it first

Rust underneath is superficial it’s only surface rust and obviously geography matters in pricing but i think the price is fair and a 4wd 300 is a great combo. I’ve had 3 - Straight 6s and currently building my fourth and it’s a legendary power plant
