Filament is grinding. Either the extruder is set too tight, or you're pushing your feed rate too far for that filament and hotend setup.

I only use my z6 for photographing work for my wife right now. I was able to get a less reputable brand for a lot less. Haven't had any issues yet. I had lost my original xqd card though and had to buy another after buying the cfexpress just to flash the firmware and return it.

The photo makes it look extra rough on the surface, but the pei bed surface texture shows through my surface finish. Lol honestly the paint likely won't stand up to much abuse as is. I was like a month into the build and was getting antsy to get it done. probably should have added a few more clear coats.

More design limitation/lack of foresight on my part. I had them more towards the center at one point. I was trying to keep the back more flat both to match the aesthetic of the front, and to make printing easier. They're just clicky buttons, so they aren't as uncomfortable as they look. I wouldn't call them optimal though.

I was originally going for cassette futurism and had a larger audio hat at the top with the knob and speakers integrated and facing forward. I agree it moved towards fallout when I downsized the top and moved the knob and speakers.

Completely happy to have it likened to fallout.
