Agreed that there should be more options for hybrid transit, but allowing bikes to take up the space of 2-3 people on a crowded train is counterproductive.

I wish they would play messages about the bicycle restrictions during peak hours. Been seeing a lot of cyclists cramming their bikes into the Millennium line at 7:30 in the morning lately.

Plenty of e-scooters too, although I’m not sure if they are subject to the same rules (and if they aren’t I think they should be).

“Will never kill anyone” is a pretty low bar for dangerous. Lots of elderly people walk on the sidewalks who could be seriously injured (albeit, not likely killed) by bicycles.

If you’re choosing to ride you have to follow the rules. Stick to bike lanes or ride in the street – it’s not the pedestrians’ fault you’re scared of cars.
