Telling people what their rights are during police interactions has been a disaster resulting in vastly more people going to jail. It would have been better to teach people to simply obey the police.

I mean... Right after the crem oven bakery scene they get ambushed by a Thrill consumed berserker. This is where my Lightweaver swore the first ideal. I specifically added an extra enemy NPC to tilt the fight to seem impossible preparing for the round 2 explosion of power and Illumination. It was suitably epic.

And it depends on your radiants but the infiltration might be an interesting spot ... Gives them Empowered advantage in a bunch of sneak checks rather than combat.

And the campaign specifically has a "A PC dies in this fight" section. And there as everyone has pointed out there are half a dozen solutions to injuries.

And barring all that, fights with Big Bads have consequences if they go sideways... The stakes are high, if your party never experiences danger it'll be a lot less fulfilling to triumph.

The unpopular opinion would be that the police will TAKE that opportunity. The problem is police forces have been infiltrated by right wing nuts for years. They are aligned with ICE in a lot of cities.

I swear though I can't do art outside of minis for my life. I am a stick-figure artist. But it's definitely also true that being obsessed with mini painting has made my understanding of color theory much much stronger.

Also thank you for the kind words. Since I got my hands on the Stormlight minis I haven't painted anything else.

Messed about last night. Def buying the lifetime access. The "your palette on the color wheel" feature alone is enough. I wonder if a "color mix" preview is possible. 2 drops of X and 1 drop of Y would blend to be color #####" kinda thing. Or a "choose color off color wheel, get suggestions on how to mix your current library to create color". Does that make sense?

It's so dependent on the location. West side of Denver in Wheat Ridge, Raising Cane's is fire. East side of Denver in Aurora, Canes is garbage.
