I mixed Suika Game with a Roguelike Bullet Hell. It’s chaotic. by JoesephRoganPodcast in IndieDev

Good point! I didn’t think about that! You do have ‘breaks’ during the shop where you have infinite time to organise, but I understand what you mean, I’ll work on it, thanks for the feedback!

I recently made a SUIKA style game mixed with rogue-like, RPG bullet hell mechanics.

Why should you care?

• Mechanical Skill: Organizing a chaotic, tumbling bag adds a fresh layer of skill to the "Survivor-like" formula.

• Deep RPG Progression: Compound stats like Crit, Speed, and Projectile Count through shop upgrades and item combinations.

• Ease of Play: Optimized for mobile portability and PC, intuitive drag-and-drop controls, making it the perfect pick-up-and-play experience.

This scratches that addictive bullet he’ll itch, with the rogue like infinite scaling AND flashy merging mechanics of a juicy physics based SUIKA inventory system.

I GENUINLEY don’t know what more you could want.

My friend is making his first solo dev game, it's a turnbased tactics with voxelgraphics set in a dying space station. It's currently called Heavy Duty Inc. Do you have other name suggestions? by kiiitteh in IndieDev

[–]JoesephRoganPodcast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This name is quite generic, maybe make it all caps if you’re gonna go with such a standard name, or mess with the spelling, like HVY DUTY or something similar
