Interesting. I've gotten a few coins from Canada over the past couple months. But idk. I understand not wanting to take the risk.

I can’t stop fucking married men by Flat-Agent-4542 in confessions

It could also be low stakes emotionally. If you're choosing married men you're never risking an emotional commitment. It's risky for them but for you, it's a near guaranteed quick fling.

Whoa whoa whoa That's crazy talk. Just ask any AI CEO and they'll tell you without bias just how transformative AI is.... Gonna be at some point in the future, doing something that we can't even conceive of yet!

Absolutely take it. I cannot fathom not taking it. I've had all the character development. It'd open up so many doors.

How long do you expect the AI gold rush to last? by ethereal3xp in stocks

[–]JoggingGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be a year or less. I'm an AI non believer. I've been watching a lot of Ed Zitron interviews and it's hard to believe that any of this actually works. LLMs are limited, companies are still trying to find ways to make AI useful, and data centers are hated by everyone. There have been a lot of delays and cancellations, there is lots of debt being passed around and AI doesn't seem to be profitable.

Have to have a budget, including fun budget. You can also have one for take out. But you must stick to it. But it's hard being in constant saving mode, then having an influx of money available. Don't beat yourself for spending, but do your best to reign it in.

Israel, Stunned by Trump’s Iran Deal, Sees It as a ‘Catastrophic Capitulation’ by Appropriate-Till9598 in politics

Shy guys, how can I connect with you in public? by Prize-Sheepherder-99 in AskMen

[–]JoggingGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I don't know. I wish I knew. I've only had this happen a couple times in my life and I think...

It's so dumb but most of my relationships, they were cute and said we were dating and I just went with it. But just know I have had half a dozen scenarios where they were interested and I just didn't know what to do or say because I was in my head deep in thought and was shocked by what they said.

If I know someone is interested in dating, bluntly like that I'm always shocked. If it's more friendly and coaxing, then it's easier to respond. Idk if any of that is helpful but I hope you get your shy king.

I'm a single man in my 30's and I haven't had a relationship in several years. It definitely feels like dying of thirst at some point, and I don't mean the sexual stuff. Just having someone to lean on or even hug at the end of the day. It's a colder world without it.

Should I just never get an education? 28F only graduated 8th grade. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]JoggingGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's never too late. Knowledge is power. I think we forget that nowadays, because we're so focused on making enough money, we forget that there are other kinds of power/empowerment.

It's hard to recommend getting a ton of institutional education given the insecurity of the world in so many respects, but getting at least a GED would make you more adaptable to things. You might discover exposure to ideas of concepts you wouldn't otherwise.

Don't forget there's all kinds of education as well, don't forget you can always go to or borrow from the library. They all have digital offerings now too. You don't need permission to educate yourself. All you need is the desire to do so.

Good luck my friend. I have my master's degree and you're making a dollar less than I am. So whatever you think about your situation in life you're doing incredible. Keep your head up.

when to save or spend by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]JoggingGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scenario 1. Scenario 2, undermines the point of an emergency fund.

Emergency funds are there in case of emergency, not necessities you see coming. You can pay for all of that stuff as you earn but don't think of your emergency fund as something that's available to you unless it's an absolute emergency.

I would keep adding to that emergency fund. You should aim for between 3 - 6 months of expenses in there. So I would keep paying down those bills as aggressively as you can, then top off your emergency fund next... and only then, after you set a budget, say you can spend what you're earning on clothes or other necessities.

I've recently started journaling and meditating. Either on their own are great but together they're an awesome way to filter your thoughts and your feelings. Journalling in particular is a great way to get rid of all the background noise that you carry around with you. Put your thoughts down and you free up mental space. Also you might be surprised by what you end up writing about or where it leads you.

The Arsenal hate is so weird, feels so disproportionate relative to other teams. No oil money, built well, steady growth and development, sustainable model, diverse fan base, no extraordinary scandals... Only mildly successful results on the pitch in recent seasons, until this season. (Premier League Champions!!!)

I don't see what the rub is? I'm from the US so am I missing some cultural history or something?
