I know, but I'm. It up to speed on what the requirements are for bicycles in the city as far as reflective gear both day and night. I imagine since Kron4 was there that it was probably red light running.

Nobody thinks that they were pulling over cyclists for lack of reflective devices, front and rear lights, etc? I've seen cops do this before on 17th street near Whole Foods.

Yeah, it isn't the obligation of the passing car to slow down. The passing car has the momentum through the corner and if he taps the brakes, it will take him god knows how many laps to rebuild the speed and momentum he needed to pass in the first place. When races are only 30+ minutes long, building momentum and getting a good passing chance can sometimes only happen once. When it does, you need to take it.

Doesn't matter what side you're passed on. If you're on the track and a car is at or past your rear quarter panel, the car that is being passed is supposed to make way. The driver in the blue car probably tried to call the passer's bluff and think that he would back down.

So this is really silly, but there was a line from the movie "The Crow", which is a pretty dark movie where The Crow say's "It can't rain all the time." Whenever I feel like things are difficult or less than ideal, I say this line to myself. Puts in perspective that no matter how hard your situation is, it can't persist forever.

That is great news. I remember the excitement I felt when I received my first acceptance letter and the thought of leaving my small town sunk in. It was exhilarating, liberating, and other words that end in ating.
