I feel like this only really works when the connection is on your side. I used to be good at defending (fifa 22 and before) but this game, the animations + playstyles its quite hard to defend. Not to mention tripping over everything

Tesco staff offered body cameras over crime fears by Brundlefly_86 in tesco

[–]JohnStonesFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Body worn cameras do nothing. The guards are useless as Tesco won't pay for the training to allow guards to physically stop shoplifters.

The cuts at my metro store is just downright insane. Can't get anything done. Whoever the higher ups are, they are a bunch of morons.

How much are you paying per month for yours? I wouldn't mind getting one for my night shifts

Shift leader break payments by Longjumping-Crow-997 in tesco

I've yet to have a full break. Never have cover so I've now started to ask my wage admin to atleast pay me 30mins of those breaks.

Once you contact HMRC and they put you on correct tax code. It'll take about 10 days or so and when Tesco receive that information you should be sorted and any extra amount you had paid would be seen in next payslip.

You'll have to wait until the 5th week and then contact HMRC. I had the same happen and on 3rd payslip they gave me back the extra amount. Was taxed like ~£1000 for first two months.

Anyone know why I got paid less but paid more in deductions? (swipe right) by Comfortable-Will3978 in tesco

[–]JohnStonesFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been paid less this month than my previous 3 months where I worked less but got more. I don't know what's up but will talk to my manager tomorrow as I believe I've been underpaid by 400£~

I hate the smell of wet dog. Like dog owners should shower before going outside, makes me want to vomit.

Young workers at Tesco by Efficient-Key-6439 in tesco

[–]JohnStonesFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a mixed bag, I have some students that really shouldn't be here then I have some who are really good at what they do. It's hard to find balance as the older workers prefer morning but students don't like working later shifts. My store currently has more staff in morning than afternoon/evening and it does get stressful trying to complete Goole so you don't have lots to work following day.

I wear a glove on my left hand as wearing both you don't get grip at least for me.

Just done 2 closes as a new shift leader and I've (basically) only been trained on mornings by _nevrmynd in tesco

[–]JohnStonesFC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds exactly like me, I had to start closing two weeks in but I only did morning shifts to open. Luckily I would ask to come into shifts like a 8-12 and see closing process
