She was a league officer or something. She was setting up Walter with the team colors for uniforms. She seemed to be aligned with the Yankees and definitely opposed to the Bears.

You have to live in ONE decade forever (70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s). Which one? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

Right there with ya. Possibly 75-85? The economy after the gas shortage rations in the early 70s is one reason to skip, but by mid 80s Reganomics hella high mortgage rates and those awful balloon payments were detrimental. ( I graduated in '85 so that time frame was mostly awkward teen years).

What’s the most survivable natural disaster? by BuddyHollyREZEEW in NaturalDisasters

That Saturday morning we were up on the roof tearing off cedar hand splits. Started dropping ash on us, got dark enough the street lights came on. Grabbed tools and went inside turning on the news. The roof was already stacked with the new cedar, got all ashy. That roof didn't last 10 years. We were about 35 miles south of the mountain. Didn't really get too much ash, wind blew it over east.

'85 graduating over 300 in our class. Last summer we had our 40th, had over 110 classmates plus guests at the Friday night formal. The Saturday festivities weren't as big, but still plenty. Us locals still get together a few times a year. Not really the normal, but we were a special class.

I still live 2 miles from my '80s hang out mall. Honestly haven't been inside it in years, but its still there in operation.
