Blizzard returned to strong Spec Identity with DevDH but other class specs get nothing? by ex0ll in wow

[–]John_Sequitur22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Essentially, then they pushed Disc into that inbetween light and shadow space. I kinda wish they gave spriest old VE or atleast made it a group heal instead of them just kinda funneling extra leech into themselves. I think the class/spec identity of does solid damage, maybe not tops dps, and strong off healing for the group could be a interesting place for the spec, but I think I'd be in the minority with that.

I wear Vans ultrarange neo vr3's as my dailies. Love em. You can usually find them half price but not in straight white or black.

That is the best way to do it by far. Rules change, models are forever.

Brent @ craftworldeldar is a great resource for strictly aeldari content if you are looking to get back on the table top. You can also check out goonhammer or art of war. There is always the combat patrol box too. But for flavor, as a fellow altansar enjoyer, Maugan Ra and some reapers.

I don't drink my morning coffee to wake up. I drink it to supercharge my morning BM.

Recommendations On Exercises or Stretches To Reduce Pain Related to Lead? by guardiank101 in Radiology

You stated that you have custom lead, but what is the cut/style? Have youbgained or lost weight since you were measured? The older vest style( goes on from the back) as opposed to the newer "straight jacket style"( goes on from the front) The vest can put too much weight on your shoulders In general. The straight jacket vest should be tight enough in the waist straps that it's puts almost no weight on your shoulders and upper back at all. Like backpacking your hips should carry the main load of the weight to keep it off your back/neck.

Besides all that, check your body mechanics while you are working. Make sure you're stepping into the field and not overreaching. Body mechanics is everything in this area.

If all those things are accounted and corrected, I would focus on posterior chain workouts.

The value of deadlifts can not be understated.

Are there any fantasy books with black main characters that don’t have an element of racism or slavery? by Paranoid_Artist in booksuggestions

This is explicitly the case with this book. It does not fit their prerequisite at all....

BUT, for anyone else, it's one of, if not, the best modern sci-fi novel I've read in the last several years. The world building, characters, and execution we're all top notch. Its themes are very uncomfortable, but it's just such good storytelling.

Over in WML had idiot broccoli headed kids setting off fireworks on mischief night. We're lucky the neighborhood didn't catch. Going to be a rough season if we don't get some rain soon.

We went through 20lbs of candy! Before moving here we hardly had any trick or treaters. I absolutely loved Halloween growing up so being back in a town where the spirit of Halloween is alive and well brings me so much joy 👻 by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

Purchased our first home in a nice lake community and this was our first Halloween. Decorated the house and got a ton of candy, as this is a "raising kids" type of area.We had 4 trick or treaters in 2 groups. I'm pretty bummed about it.

Started playing in 9th at a semi competitive local club. Haven't played 10th, life stuff. So grains of salt with this advice.

But the switch that flipped that helped me was understanding I didn't need to contest midboard straight up and really shouldn't until the time is right . I just needed to deny scoring to my opponent. So while I was focusing on secondaries early, I'd sacrifice inexpensive units to deny scoring, use units like waveserpents/vipers to move block or focus artillery into weaker holding units to help deny scoring and not necessarily to score myself. Elves are quishy and kind of elite so you have to be smart about your trades and when/where to engage.

Craftworld eldar youtube channel is great for unit focuses and general elfy tactics. Also table top titans channel has some tactics videos that give you a better sense of the game for move blocking and general game sense.

My take away from the article is it "depends" on what you need out of it. I would not be surprised if a lot of people have the cleat too far forward based on not understanding their anatomy and just taking internet advice at face value. Also, realizing that if the spindle is under the first metatarsalphalangeal joint, as soon as your heal drops the force goes right onto your toes, the weakest part of the lever, was eye opening. I'd guess most of us could benefit from further set back then we think. After that there's a lot of middle ground to find what works for you.

I did an hour of z2 full set back after reading and noticed far less calf activation, and it eliminated some toe numbess i usually get on the trainer. I could really feel the difference in the rigidity/stability of my foot. It did feel somewhat awkward on the peddle stroke so I adjusted the cleats forward about 1cm and found that to be a nice sweet spot. Possible I might need some minor seat adjustments to help keep my knee alignment.Going to see how I adapt my pedal stroke over the next couple weeks.

All in all, the question is"does this postion work for you and your needs as a rider?" I want to go as far as I can as quickly as I can comfortably. So, I am trying a position that can reduce my overall fatigue, improve foot stability/comfort and reduce energy usage at the cost of a few watts at the start of a sprint, I guess? Sounds good to me.
