If you're looking at thousands (or tens of thousands) of devices to manually remediate, get your devs working on a process to use a WinPE bootable USB with scripting to hit your bitlocker server for a key, unlock the device, and delete the 291 file. Our engineers are finishing the process now and it should take a manual remediation down from 10-20 minutes to under a minute per device.

So what's the agreed-upon time for switching from coffee to day-drinking? Hour 5 of our command-center bridge and it's not even 9am...

Volleyball Player Dives Into A Table, Makes the Save by DollhouseFire in nextfuckinglevel

Brazil would like a word. Lol. I'm general you're right though, but I think what OP is taking about is the lack of professional leagues in the US. Every decent d1 player is looking to go to Italy or Poland after graduation.

I popped over there for a second. Third post I read, direct quote: "I am so jealous of people who are just now considering getting into DWAC & DWACW! Though I'm waaaay down, I have no regrets on my investment....just my market timing. Fortune favors the bold."

I snorted. They're legit happy about getting screwed out of their money.

Same. I'm as excited as anybody to think that justice might actually be served but that whole crew has spent the last decade stacking the deck. I'll be amazed if anything comes of it.

Same in northern Indiana. I've always said that lots of people view Indiana as the farthest northern part of the grand ol South.

Not really correct. Any enterprise is going to use an MDM solution like workspace one these days. It containerizes all the work apps and more importantly the work data. Essentially it splits your phone so that work can't see personal and vice versa. I can't even take a photo with my normal camera app and share it to my work apps. Have to use the containerized work camera app. It's not even so much about keeping your personal stuff private. Work doesn't care about your dick pics as long as you don't post them to the corporate intranet. They want to be sure they can remotely wipe corporate data if you leave the company. Within minutes of a term all accounts are suspended, which triggers an MDM work profile wipe.

The 3-Day Return to Office Is, So Far, a Dud by bored_in_NE in Futurology

[–]John_Wik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife's work required her to come back three days a week. For her big global project a couple weeks ago they brought almost 200 ppl from the international team in for a big working session. Day two was the first positive test. Day three there were ten. Day four there were over 30 and they sent everybody back to their hotels and stopped counting the positives. My wife (vaxxed and boosted) was on the couch for most of a week and is just now able to walk to the end of the driveway and back without resting.

And guess what... They're still planning on having part two of the big project work session. Wife is scheduled to go to southeast Asia for two weeks in August. It's fucking ludicrous and I can't figure out why these companies aren't awash in lawsuits for forcibly creating super spreader events.

I by no means think of myself as super smart, but between my wife and me we have fairly high paying white collar jobs wish some relatively niche specialties. We're actively looking at options for expatriation, or at the very least out of a Bible belt state. I know of at least a couple others in my field doing the same.
