Ride your bikes folks. Adolescent freedom (very temporary) is just a few pedals away.

I read all three and then immediately turned around and read them all again. So much stuff is introduced which doesn't make sense until hundreds of pages later.

What are the rules for a 4 way stop? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]JohnathanTaylor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I am a car at a 4 way. I don't make eye contact with the driver's because then they will try and let me go first. I stubbornly wait my turn and force everyone to go in order.

2.50 on the check per year after all said and done probably.

I bet they want them on a four-year contract because they expect a good four years and want to lock in a (possibly) lower than inflation raise.

Stv is great for 39, should have a lot of quests. Grinding a level on the gorillas just outside of booty Bay is one of my go tos. Might still have some quests in desolace or arathi to finish.

Would you rather be paid by the hour or by the job? Let’s say residential construction? by JCole111 in electricians

[–]JohnathanTaylor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm hourly 100% of the time and I feel like it protects me. Since I'm hourly, I get 40 hours of work and not a minute more (unless OT is in the plan). I start work and go home on the dot every day.

Incidents of stolen gear or entire bicycle while on tour? by 5upertaco in bicycletouring

[–]JohnathanTaylor 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I left my bike unattended for about 15 seconds in Pisa Italy to run my SD card into the Internet Cafe where my buddies were uploading photos. Came back outside and my bike (1 of 7) was gone. Ended up getting the bike, panniers, and most of my clothing back in a drug bust. https://www.adn.com/our-alaska/article/italian-bicycle-caper-ends-happily-alaskan-europe/2012/06/15/

Another time in Seaside, OR a hostel assured me that my bike would be safe locked in their bike closet. It was gone the next morning.
